i was a perfect kid in elementary school.....i dunno what happened. i used to get straight a's, never got in trouble, except for the occasional talking in class, i always knew the answers and was the fiirst to raise my hand. now i'm lucky if i get ONE a, i average one detention every 4 days, and sleep in every class minus a few exceptions.....wow, i'm a slacker

grades dont always reflect how smart/stupid you acutally are at all. usually you can tell just by talking to them whether they know anything or not.

omg...i hate people who r all petty about their grades. they could be #5 in the class and they freak when they drop to like #7. or now people r all gung-ho about being in teh top 10 percent which means they'd be sitting on teh stage at graduation instead of on the floor w/ the rest of us mediocre students.

Ya, as long as I get the credits for the class I'm taking I'm happy. But I get payed for my grades so I try and keep them kinda high. But seriously, grades have nothing to do with how smart you are. It's mainly how much effort you put into your work.

Heheheh I had the worst fuckin grades ever in high school...I think I had a 2.8 or something as my final cummulative. That was after I finally started doing homework the last few years when I realized I wouldnt be able to go to school anywhere but a PA state school (nothing wrong with that except the PA part).

Now I have a 3.8 at CU, doing my pre-med shit, and I ski and drink like a fool. It dosn't really make sense to me....

 
yea, I get like $50 per A and $25 per B...it's helpful.

I take some of the hardest courses known to man. All grade 12 adv classes are university courses, and i'm only in grade 11. I got Bio 12 adv, Phys 11 adv, Chem 12 adv, Math 12 adv, Eng. 11 adv, Canadian History 11, and Latin 11 enriched. And if i dont get an above 80 avg, then no skiing for me, which is illegal on so many levels. Thats my deal.

As a freshman, I don't get much choice on how hard or easy your classes are except for math and science. but I'm taking harder classes next year...

This year- Adv Geometry, Biology, Wind Ensemble (advanced band), Lit & comp 9, global studies 9, Health/PE, Spanish 1

Next Year- Adv Algebra2/trig, Chemistry, Physics, NW Ecology, Adv english 10, Psychology, Spanish 2

Supposedly I'm smart, but one of my friends who's also a freshman is in IB Calc. which is crazy cause that's the highest class that they offer at my school.
