Come on guys,

everybody knows that there is nothing ganster about skiing. There is nothing gangster about wearing tall tees and listening to rap music. When i ski i wear a 3xl tall tee and listen to Wu-Tang Clan but that doesnt mean that i think im gangster. Just because you wear big shirts because they look cool doesnt mean that you think that your from the hood or that you think your black. Look at Max Hill, he wears tight pants. Deos that make him emo? hell no, it just makes him a gypsy. I dont think that there is actually a single skier out there that thinks they're a real thug (not including the ninthward crew) unless they actually do hussle drugs for money, and even then its probably just selling weed to the other rich white kids they know.

So in conclusion, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT SKIING ISNT ACTUALLY GANGSTER! Stop whining about people wearing tall tees and gangster rap in ski edits because people can wear what they want and do whatever the FUCK they want.

You're complaining about people thinking big clothes=gangster, and then go and say tight pants=gypsy. A little hypocritical don't ya think? Do you even know what a gypsy actually is? Wearing clothes while skiing doesnt make you anything. You're a skier.
 
Im so sick of all these kids who hate on baggy clothes. Sometimes it does look a bit goofy yes but who cares. Seems like a lot of kids are switching to the slim style now and hating on kids who wear baggy stuff. I personally have never really worn baggy clothes but most of my friends do. I dont call them out for it. They are doing their thing im doing mine. People are so scared to be different.
 
thats exactly my point. I have an AK 47 in my icon, i wear tall tees when i ski and i listen to rap music. but in no way do i think i am gangster what so ever. Plus my name is "hoodhugo" because my first name is hugo and i ski at mt hood

I grew up below middle class, raised by my mom and grandparents, my dad doesn't give a shit about me and I use to roam the streets and fuck shit up.

Does that make me hood? Or do I have to be black as well?

Isn't it fair to say now that skiing, not even specifically newschool skiing has its own subculture now? Sure a lot of the influences may be from 'gangster' ideas but cant we now say that skiing culture is skiing culture and nothing else. While I wear baggy clothes (not tall tees or anything but still...) doesn't mean Im trying to dress up like a gangster, just a skier, its what i find comfortable to ski in.
Just what I reckon, skiing culture shouldnt be called 'gangsta'... its just skiing.

gangsters and skiers both face danger on a daily basis and there is always the unknowing possibility of instantly becoming seriously injured, or even dead. just saying.
