I always thought that I'm 5'9, but I just got myself measured and it turns out that I'm 5'8.

 
well check this:

i always thought i was 5'3...then i find out i'm really 5'1.

Im only 5'1' and im a guy so all my friends are taller than me and its not too fun cause they all beat on me. :-( There are some advantages to being short i just cant think of them anymore.

being short has its advantages...you don't have so far to go to the ground so when playing dodgeball you can get there faster...you can get tall, very good looking, canadian guys to get things off the top shelves...and most importantly, it's GREAT for jumping, you have good balance by being close to the ground, and it's less to worry about getting around for rotations/flips/whatever.
