He's been working on the new binding project for Armada, named the Revolution. They're working with eldar innovations at www.elgrind.com. It's going to incorporate radical new ideas into the binding that make it easily compatible with a grind plate. Boyd loves rollerblading now and he wanted to find a way to bring that more into skiing. The new binding should be out by next season.

dude, skiers slide rails just like blades, get over it. Everything is constantly evolving.

i saw something like that at the ski expo in albany, but it was really ghetto and was on snow blades..needless to say i ran
 
there was a thread about this grind plate thing along time ago, making fun of it in fact i believe, armada isn't doing ne thing. this is skiing for god sakes
 
I think I remeber line making grind plates some number of years ago. If these take off, lines futuristic thinking will just blow my mind.

JESUS CHRIST. I'm sorry, but does anyone around here understand a JOKE. This grind plate thing was posted by some student a few years ago, and he was entirely reamed out about it.Everyone in the community thought is a useless idea, making the creator a joke. Someone brought it up again as a Joke in the armada thread and seemingly everone believes him. I REPEAT - the grind plate is a funny reference to a stupid idea introduced in a past thread. Like the Osama pro model.

This is the great thing about NS, the moment someone makes an entirely unfounded statement the entire community believes them. These is no intelligence among most its members - rational thought is, for lack of a better phrase, an after thought.
 
no dude i jsut e-mailed armada and they said they haven't rueld out grind-plate integratioin into their new binding
 
Lax, care to post the email instead of just assuming that simply saying something makes it true. Because, like most posts on this site, I call bullshit on yours.
 
This is the single stupidest idea I have heard of, well actually not the stupidest but its up there. Mabey armada will use this, mabey they wont. In the end I wont buy it
