I'm 5'11 and this year I bought 183's of the BD havoc which is about the same demensions as the b3. They are really big and took some getting use to but now I love them. They are so stable. I thought I would really feel a difference when spinning but I haven't knowticed the extra length or weight. I'm with u though some of these kiddos on like 160 and 170 should sack up and quit with the snowerblades.

This year I hope to see more kids incorporating newschool with big mountain riding and getting out of the park.-Matt Levintal
 
dude, you'll be fine. 181 cm for a person who is 5'10' is ideal. all these people who are saying that they're 5'11' and are on 161 171s and stuff are dumb. the longer length will make you a lot more stable and will be better for crusin the mountain than shorter ones. i'm 5'10 and i would NEVER go shorter than the 180 range.

yeah they'll be alright cuz teh running length is way shorter than the actually ski since its twin tip. my friend is like 5-9 or somethin and he just got 179 PE's and they are good.

im 5'7' 130 lbs

i ski 171 mike nicks but i want to trade them in for some pollard pro 186s if i can. my nicks are still in the packaging right now so i still have a chance. then i wanna get some 169 fujatives over the summer for just park since my mikes were free and if i trade for pollards, that makes them free too.

 
i'm 5'3' and i ride the 171's. all you crazy big 5'10' people should stick to your 181's.

go get some 212s fool... 180 is the perfect ski length. id be scared to ski anything shorter.

When I bought my first pair of skis, I was used to 150cm rental skis but I bought 168s. I thought it would be a big difference but it wasn't they were so much more stable. Now 3 years later I want something around 180.

 
who are those crazy braws out there who are 6' or taller and rockin 150s and 160s, thats just ridiculous

yeah ski hobo but it also takes a better skier to control a bigger ski. So it works both ways.

I'm 5'9' and like 135-140 and i like my skis on the shorter side (i use 165s) because most of my time is spent in the woods, using a big ski in east coast woods is a bitch.
