i agree with him to an extent, but its not fair at all to label this site as a whole. there are some really really smart people on here, and the people whose egos overshadow their intelligence are ruining it for the rest of us
 
well look what the kids on here have done, they have driven away one of the best skiers in the sport today.Also people have caused a tone of kid who are asking people who are better than them at skiing how to progress and do new tricks to cry and hate this web site. By hating on these people you are bring this web site to a new low.

This is a place where skiers can talk on their spare time to other skiiers and ask questions about skiing. This place is starting to make myspace look better.

I'm considering leaving now too.

I think it is time for the mods to start booting people out for talk trash and making this place look bad.
 
i'd probably be gone if it wasn't for the regional forums, cause i like to talk to people in my area about when they're going where and stuff.

it has come to my attention that nobody pays attention to the banner at the top with the bunnies. some people who need to grow up have driven away some of the best freeskiers in the world from this site, it's a sad thing really.
 
thats a bummer, he's dope, my favorite segment of war straight up, I watched his bonus seggy, like 15 times. I hate park skiing, but wester mkaes me watch it anyway. sad, but if you can read this wester, because I know you are gunna look back on this, you are, YOUR MY HERO.

The worst part is that I bet no one really takes this into consideration.

Of course I do agree with you that the hating is not needed on here, we're all part of this community, in interviews (some can be found on this site) you were bashing certain aspects of our freeski community (rap music, ghetto style).

So maybe hop off the high horse for a second and just realize that people vent every once in a while only because they want to speak their minds.

^thank you for pointing that out man, it seems like Jacob is one of the pros who bitches and talks shitty about other aspects of the sport waaay more than the others. Not to say he isn't sick or that he didn't have the hottest pictures up, but he really does ride around on a high horse.

its like this guy is dying here, whoa. but this dude is right. i can have an instant report of any park i am going to the weekend within minutes or find out the results of an obscure east coast comp that my friends were in, i think thats pretty great and NS.com is the best resource for staying connected to the ski lifestyle, not just sport, we're all obviously connected to. you just have to sift through a lot of bullshit, being member # 422 of like a billion, i've learned to realize NS is what you make of it.

i dont think it deserves more recognition than a post from another rant from anybody else on here...just because he is pro doesnt mean that he has a better answer to the flaming problem on here than anyone else does...jacob is a dope skier,but hes just like everyone else on ehre
 
i'm tired of all this...lets just finalize it and say, yes we should all stop hating, but we have to realize some may not, so if the site gets you down that much then you should quit the site, if it doesnt than stay on and lead by example
 
I think Mods and techs should get together and ban any user that wants to raise hell.Mods should be stricter about topics.

Anything that is of insult, destructive messages and reputation harming should be automaticly deleted without hesitation and a warning should be issued for the user. 3 strickes and your banned should be policy.

This is not a case of freedom of speech, its about protecting a beatiful thing, skiing.

Im not only talking about forums but also articles and media sections should be checked.
 
what does everyone really expect this site to be?

hahaha you have to be kidding. You think if there were more females we'd be more positive? Then we'd just have more female bitterness and competition, just like life outside of this site.

Nothing about humanity before, during, or after the creation of NS points to having the presence of females increase peace and happiness.
 
Dude...hang out in the people pictures section a bit more and you'll see what I'm talking about. Most of them don't hang out in the forums cause their words don't get them adequate attention.
