Hello, good evening.

I am, after being a member for several years, now leaving this site.

The reason? It makes me sick, seeing how big, not to say major, parts of our skiing scene and its audience is represented by a bunch of immature morons sitting in front of their computer screens giving people shit for how they look, how they ski, what they wear, what music they listen to, where they live and so on.

It seems like a kid cant even post a legit question on here without being made fun of, or harassed by being called a noob, loser, gay, the list goes on for quite a while.

Its almost scary to see how low the average NSers intelligence seems to be. This used to be a ski community where you could ask questions, discuss different topics without ending up in verbal fights arguing over who sucks the most, and post pictures and videos of your progression without getting 20 comments on how u suck, and how u should quit skiing, and how your pants are too tight, etc.

It's just sad, what this place has become. And to all sane and mature members, thanks for a good time, I've been greatly entertained by numerous forum threads, some that have left me and my friends laughing for days. (constipation thread, robe and wizardhat, etc.)

So, this is my curtain call. Hope to see you all out there on the mountain, doing what we love the most. Skiing, and sharing our knowledge and skills.

that is very true.

even when i first joined 3 years ago this place was a lot different. unfortanutly*sp* times change and the douchenozzles of the world have caught on that this sport is ill, and now infest this fucking website.
 
Agreed. There are still some good threads and positives to this site tho. For one i think it it made a lot of people aware of you before you started competing internationally. Before i knew who Jacob Wester was i was always excited to see new pictures from Jacob_W. sad to see you go.

It sucks to see you go man...I always remember you posting your videos like "first misty" and stuff back in the day, and I knew you were going to go somewhere...look at where you are now, props on how far you have made it...and yes, don't be scared to log on once in a while...

totally agree dude. i sometimes think that ppl spend far too much time on here and so not enough skiing. ppl need to get a life and find somethin else to bitch about other than ppls spelling or taste. Its ridiculous which is why i dont pay attention to ppl who have nothing good to say. losers.

fvck, i was so happy to have you as a pro in my cult, it isnt that serious but the fact that you joined meaned something to me, thx alot and come back, the good things overwage the bad things by far...
 
oooooh, i've been through this sooo many times. I used to post videos of my progression before. Well. I stoped posting vids for allmost a year because of all the stupid comments I got. You are gay, ever thought about killing yourself? and stuff like that. And all the persons who had posted thoose comments had stupid profiles, with no pictures uploaded themselves.

And when I finally got better, people came crawling with stupid posetive comments, eventhough they hated me because of my skiing, and not because of me as a person. Stupid people sitting in front of their computers!!
 
It's just that people who can't this sport seriously, is not willingly to reach any far in it... that's the guys who's playing idiots here

JW, good luck with your ski carreer. I remeber coming on here and whenever people would ask me to show them sick pictures I would go under your name cause you had some dope ass pics
 
I'm realy new here, so I can't say I know how the old days were. But it's a lot of people talking shit to others. It sucks, and it's sad to see you leave.

Iv'e seen people write these i'm-leaving-forever-cuz-NS-sucks-messages and EVERY TIME the majority of the posts has consisted of the same old "you're gay" and "who cares?"-comments. but when JACOB WESTER pulls the EXACT SAME THING basicly no one writes anything like that.

To all you fucktards who wrote shit like that before: why don't you step up to the plate? huh? huh?!

yeah, this basicly proves what all you haters really are - immature little whiners who hangs on the "post your picture of a hot girl"-thread, wishing one day you too could lose your virginity and maybe get that cork 3 on a trampoline so no one will write "you're gay" to you - because no, you don't have bangersteeze, it's everyone else. And you don't have any pictures or video because you're too good for school... or it's just the fact that you suck or that you're on this site so much that you forgot about the most important - skiing.

If intelligent discourse is impossible in Ski Gabber then you probably prefer the cults. If someone says something retarded and offensive then you tell the mods. etc etc
 
Losing a good member is always a dissappointing thing, so peace out man, and NS is slightly worse off without you. You're letting the immature 'fags' get to you too much.
 
Just be sure to upload a short vid or a photo everyonce in a while. Mad props on how much you've accomplished in the last few years though

i envy you, i have been trying to leave this site for a while... i always mosey back. but good luck, post some pictures for us if you feel so inclined in the future. see you on the hill.
