More than likely I'll probably be buying only 2 movies this year unless i get one for x-mas, cuz im in college and im broke. So i was thinking Long Story Short and Corduroy...But then theres Wha'happened which i really wanna see, and Ski Porn. Any suggestions from guys that have already seen any of these? thanks
 
SKi porn is the only movie ive seen out of what youve mentioned. Its what you would expect from poor boyz. Pretty awesome skiing, i thought the highlights were Andy's part, JP's part, Adreas part, Schillers nose butter cab 5, and sammys lofty spins out of the uprail.

pretty standard film, music decent, JP had the best edited part i thought as far as music and sound, a cool vibe, but yeah, its enjoyable to watch.
 
ski porn will be 10000000 bazillion times better than LSS. LSS will be full of switchups, interlaced footage and 30ft backcountry booters...skiporn on the other hand is full of switch powder the likes of which you have never seen, PEP, Chris B. and poorboyz's usual high production vaues....need i say more..
 
lolo favre is in skimatic...i haven't seen it but he is the steeziest of motherfuckers and gets no cred (the cork3 nose pic, that huuge sw 7 at us opwn, sw rodeo to rail...what the fuck...pretty sure thats him in the trailer royale grinding the flat down...how? what? the fuck?)

respect is the sickest big mountain movie coming out this year, if winc ink continues their legacy

oh year and if you're looking for straight jibmonkeys you know the bogart kids will have destroyed shit in pterodactyl blood, still don't undertand how ahmet isn't famous/spancered

 
you also get UP 1.2.1 with skiporn..

the UP series are my favourite out of all the movies available
 
I think you will really like [photo]play and also Ski porn. if you are only getting two movies. but Anomaly and LSS are going to be fucking sick.
 
I know it's hard (especially coming from one broke college student to another) but i would wait til they come out and you hear more about them. Every is simply speculating that LSS will be the best movie of the year with only a very good trailer as a basis. Ski Porn is the only one anyone has seen and with the exception of a few haters it has very solid reviews. Ski Porn is one of those movies that grows on you after you watch it a few times, but the actual skiing in it is very, very good. I think if I buy two more it will be LSS and Anomaly.
 
has anybody here watched UP1.2.1? If so, how is it? I know its awesome cause its a UP movie, but to what level of awesomeness did they go this year?
 
get "more" by absinthe. yeah it's snowboarding, but it'll absolutely blow away any ski movie this year, with the possible exception of skimatic...we'll see. but yeah, "more" is unspeakably epic.
 
get something like LSS for pro skier vid and check out Snow Gods for a great mix of park and powder plus there's hours and hours of bonus footage that'll keep you entertained until next x-mas
 
freerider: Anomoly and Push (cuz i actually don't hate matchstick, it comes with another movie and this years movie looks sick.

Jibber/All-around:Pteradactol Blood or skimatic and ski porn.
 
Ya same here im only getting 2 movies and ive come to this dession LONG STORY SHORT and SKI PORN becuase ski porn also come with up1.2.1 so im getting lots for my money
 
don't get ski porn if you are only going to get two, Go with photo play, so amazing. and LSS or Anomaly depending if you prefer to watch some guys who cant really ski hop on rails, or some people abusolutly distroy some bigmountain lines.
 
^yeah man although someone said it. But I love their teasers man that movie is gonna blow. T Hall, T Rainville, Seth Morisson, the Petits and this Borownski guy or something gonna be sick
