phone rings, im chillin at my comp listin to blowin trees by nappy roots. private call.

i pick up.

"hello is this ax this is ltn. morse"

yeah.

he starts saying how i entered some site and showed interest in the navy, so im like whatever and start talking to him blah blah.

he starts asking for me info, im like sure whatever. then he gets to adress. im like po box... and hes like no i mean physical adress so i can come up and visit to talk.

I was like wtf!!! so i say "oh i dont think thats necessary i had a change of plans im going to uvm next year and arent as interested"

he insists its nothing to big and its his job and he's in the area.

again i say "no thanks ive changed my mind"

and he insists again saying "oh its nothing big dont worry about it im in the area its nothing"

and then goes into this privacy shit and then he's like when have u used illegal drugs last.

im like uhhh school i guess

hes like 2 months ago.

im like 'uhh two weeks ago'(really like 2 hours ago haha)

and hes like "now what kind of drugs?"

and i start laughing cant help it, then say in my most serious voice "marijuana"

then he tells me hes gonna stop by my house monday at 6.

WTF i didnt want any of this shit he just kept on insisting and now i have a dinner date with ltn. morse.

seriously, don't express any interest, sign up for any mailing lists or even put your name down on anything he gives you unless you want to forget about college and get shipped off. tell him to leave, that you already have plans for your future..

I hate recruiters so much. They will tell you anything just so you put your name on the dotted line. It's really terrible. Your highschool probably gave out the names of all of the 18 year old males, just like mine did. Every time they call, just say not interested. Please remove my name from your list.

nah man.. i was sitting with my cousin with my car at a highschool in millwalkie(or) my car was overheated and we was just sitting there when out of the fuckin blue some jarhead came up and was like. so when you boys gonna join teh marines.. and were both like.. what the fuck... and we tell him nicely to leave and he starts getting pissed off at us. telling us that were "unpatriotic" and shit. and i blew the fuck up. and the guy was like.. its your duty to do this.. and i told him that being an a pupet sent of to my death was not me... he shut up and kept walking
 
To get the marine guy to stop talking to me i had to tell him i had no ambition in life and was just gunna start scratching lotto tickets to make my millions and wanted to see how far i can get working at mcdonalds....he took me completly seriously.
 
How do you honestly know this guy is from the Navy? I know a guy who got scammed and robbed to shit because he gave out personal information including his address to some guy he thought was a Navy recruiter. Have fun.
 
i agree. u sound a little ungrateful for a guy that is laying his life down on the line for yours. pff people like u is why im not interested in joining.
 
and for a fact.. the marine i asked him if he was in combat.. he in fact had not. and was just a fuckin recurter... the only thing hes "lying" for is the corrupt usa
 
you dont have to be in combat to serve your country. i have a tremendous respect for everyone who has served in combat and i have respect for all those who stepped up. seriously i dont see where someone like you can come off acting like youre better than someone who volunteered to defend you
 
what ever man.. go ahead and hate the hippes. i dont know how you got into the service but that was your choice alone. i can respect that. but the marine that 'accosted me and my cousin was a downright fucker. and i was not gonna take the bull shit from him any longer. and i told him off and he left. how is that make me a hippe.?
 
tell him you are a ragein faggott, and unless lt fuckhead wants to get down and dirty, he needs to go the fuck back to his submarine. When they called me and they tried to setup a meeting i told them i was gonna be in colorado skiing. he said that great, and now 3 years later, i havnt had anopther call.
 
Then ask yourself, what are we being defended from? Last I checked no country has openly threatened the US, and if we were seriously in need of soldiers, I'd sign up. Korea and Iran aren't dumb enough to declare war on the only remaining super power in the world, and if we are defending ourselves against terrorists, why do we a need a full fledged army to fight maybe 1/7,000,000,000th of the world's population.

Shit even our old enemies like China and Russia want our nuts now, because *gasp* Capitalism is helping them!

Not to diss on our friends in arms such as yourself, but at this moment, you are completely unneccessary.

the same guy called me about 2 weeks ago, luckily I was able to get him off the phone without making any plans.

What state do you live in ax? This might be the same guy, he even did the same thing with the whole, "I'm the recruiter for your area"

 
haha i had something like that happen to me. one day this dude calls and is like u interested in the vavy(or army or something i duno) and im just like "i think im going to college"

then he kept on insiting i meet with him because he was coming to my highschool to talk to people and eventually i said okay because saying that i was fine wasnt working. so the day he came to the highschool i tried to hide in like different rooms, but my librarian somehow managed to find me and told me the dude was there. then we sat down and talked.

he was like "so u think ull join?"

"naw, im just going to college"

then after i said that, he told me the stuff anyway knowing that we were both wasting each others' time. then he just gave me his card and told me to ask people about the navy.

it was kind of awkward though because he knew i wasnt going to do it but he told me anyway
