and do u think i could get away with making all there jibs out of wood and pvc? keep in mind this mountain has never had apark so nethign would be good and they have very low budget
 
no. i going to have to say that a few good rails is better than a bunch of pvc ones that are going to break.

do you have access to any sort of welding? because what i would do if i were you is make some good rails and jumps and even if there arent many of them, get lots of hype up for them on the mountain and hope that next year the mountain will be willing to throw more money on it.
 
rent a uhaul go to the junkyard and get creative. have fun with it don't become a statistic of the park builders!
 
that i would have to disagree with. I prefer a bunch of rather small elements in a ncie flow line then one nice element. I have somesolid designs for pvc.. we are gonna try it neway.. weld a few rails to probably
 
your gonna have a problem with pvc pipe cracking. it happened to both my pvc rails. the first one crck the first run down my backyard, second one like after 3 days of using it. if anyone is trying spin ons they are going to break in no time.
 
i just had a thought

concrete reinforced pvc... or some sort of reinforced idk if that would work just throwing it out there but yah seriously if its just pvc, it will break. and your line of multiple jibs will be rendered unhittable.

what mountain are you doing this for anyway?
 
just use metal, even a metal rail on wood, it wonr bend so it will be sturdy and obviously a welder is the best option.

dont be cheap and use pvc, because when it breaks, although its cheap, you are going to have to remake them which will cost mor than a welder in the end
 
Yes, more stuff is going to make a better line, but having to stop cause the person in front of you caught an edge on the 4 foot PVC kink kinda ruins the line...
 
definitely make metal rails. Can you imagine, some kid hits thePVC, chips first day, its gunna be killin people all day everyday, unless you fix it, then you'll be sanding every rail every day, eventually having no pvc left and tehn no park. Go out there and weld!
 
no pipes, they break, make losts of boxes, and i you need a rail, buy PVC chanel at the US plastic website, to the size you want, and put it over a board, make sure the jumps are good in the park too
