I'm new at this. Help me with my resume please.

I'm trying to get a job at Safeway and this is the first time I've had to put together a resume. Constructive criticism is welcome. +K

Objective:

Motivated and hard working individual seeks employment.



Qualifications:

Some knowledge in carpentry (took a class)

Currently taking a drafting class

Currently taking pre-calculus math



Work Experience:

One summer at an orchard



Education:

11th grade education in Colville School District, 3.5 GPA



Awards:

7th grade High Honor Roll

8th grade High Honor Roll

9th grade High Honor Roll

10th grade no honor roll but did exceptionally well in both my math classes getting A+ in each and even above 100% for the first semester of Integrated Math II.



Activities:

My main activity is freeskiing which is a kind of skiing that includes jump, cliffs, tricks, and even skiing backwards.

Varsity Soccer Team



Community Service:

8 hours helping at a Colville swim meet



Work Skills:

basic welding

basic drafting

wow not gonna lie. if i saw that, i would throw that shit away. my best advice is search microsoft word resume templates on google, download one, and fill it out. it'll look professional.
 
yeah bro, focus more on yourself and your values. Like people said get a template, that'd be annoying to read.

Plus, its Safeway, not a welding facility. Do they weld there? No. Pretty sure that's irrelevant.

i mean come on, you could at least describe what your duties at said orchard were.
 
dude working at safeway sucks, sure its cool that they hire before your 16 but DONT WORK THERE. i did and it was a big bad mistake....low pay and they treat you like shit dude i say do it if you really want spending mmoney but otherwise wait a year shovel snow and mow lawns, make more $$yeaa

seriously?! fuck man. you need to go into detail about the values you have that would help you at this job. not skiing.

get a template, and try and sound a bit more...educated?
