I'm in need of good vibes

if you are still in aspen

then yes the hospital does suck

they never know what the hell they are doing

but feel better and go skiing

word.^
if there is even the mere possibility of your organs (especially spleen and liver) being enlarged, you shouldn't step foot into the lift line. that's just plain stupidity; if either of those rupture you could literally die. is skiing while you feel like crap really worth the risk of being life-flighted for emergency surgery? i don't think so. skiing for the sake of sounding hardcore and telling NS about it..? cool.

basically, why wouldn't you take a few weeks off of skiing and get better instead of risking ENDING your season for the sake of skiing a few days feeling terrible? asinine.

Seriously...not damage your liver that you need to get rid of the toxins that you ingest or keep skiing maybe fall and rupture your spleen and all that jazz...take your pick.

since i'm not in your situation i won't tell you what to do or what not to do, just hope all goes well and you can get back to 100% as soon as possible. good luck

wooow hope you feel better and make it to queens cup!!!

i'll be cheering all you girls out there killing it

i'll be in crutches or just limping around haha

good luck +++ vibes

daym i was being sarcastic haha, I've been skiing but just the groomers and i have some norco for the pain so Its not all thta bad

its weird how mono can hit people so differently. I had mono back sophomore year and didn't even realize it really. I had minor soar throats that were there off and on, and some unusual fatigue. I still skied though while I had it even though my spleen had increased in size and I could feel somewhat against my ribs. Probably not the best idea. The doctor told me 4 months later that I had had mono based on the blood test results.

Mono fucking blows, positive vibes your way. At least now you can't get it again.

mono's the worst, so i'm very sorry lady! i kept on skiing and going to school full time, and then one day i couldn't even get out of bed i was so tired. felt super sick, so i went to the health clinic on campus, turned out i had mono and strep throat. i got taken out of school, and my gpa seriously suffered because of it. academic probation isn't any fun : ( no more skiing anyways for me. so fuck mono, and i'm sorry you have to go through that, it's terrible. hopefully you start to feel better soon!

just ask them for morphine and chill, you almost died. dont go and kill yourself over a park run. that would be really fucking stupid. next year you can just go to like fucking interior bc and chill at sunshine village or something. a few park days isnt worth 60 years of living

you know i send all my love to ya. and everyday i hope your at full health so we can go ride like mad. much love from your torrey

holy shit, thats quite the story there girl. i fully understand the desire to keep skiing but seriously, theres no need to try and act tough when you're fucked up like that. you need to get yourself better before you do some serious damage. if i knew you i'd drive you to the hospital myself. its funny most guys i know would have gone to the hospital after not being to keep any food down for 3 days. but you stick it out for 5 days... how do you even have any energy to stand up? nevermind ski. do you have any update on your condition? i hope those doctors figured out what the hell was wrong with you. heres a big cyber hug from me to you ***HUG*** get well soon girl.

well my health if finally stablazied and im in park city chillen before a comp tomorrow, i guess the pain i had was stress as weird as that sounds i was so stressed out from traveling and stuff my stomach made too much acid and it was burning my stomach and causing me incredible pain they gave me some stuff for it, ive been on norco for a while like a week or so for the pain but im doing pretty good skiing here till monday then going to steamboat for a few days for the jo's if anyone is there send me a message well kick it
