I found this cam site with girls on it, ended up seeing a girl I thought was cute, I have kind of fallen for her and kind of have had spent a ton of money on her. Like enough that I have her phone number and we talk often, I'm trying to get it so we can meet up but she lives pretty far away. This ever happen to anyone else on here or am I crazy for doing this?

This. If you spend a ton of money on her, then stahp immediately. You're probably getting scammed from someone in a random part of the world. Also you don't know if she's real unless you've: a.) saw her actual face on a video call (i.e. Skype, FaceTime); or b.) met her in real life. Either way, there is a 50% chance you're getting catfish'd.
 
I wouldn't say that he's getting catfished. More just getting lead on until his wallet is drained.

And OP, listen to your heart. The quickest way to a cam whore's heart is by allowing her access to your bank account. Just go right on ahead and send her your account number, SSN, PIN, and anything else she might need. She will then be yours for all of eternity (meaning until you end the skype call and she proceeds to ruin your life).
