Im in Korea Right Now

I've been to South Korea, and its my least favorite asian country. The city is super clean, nice, so far in advanced, but the people are so rude, they dont say thank you, dont smile, and ask look like there doing. Thats my 2 cents, but why you like it?

Haha, yeah I like it here, but I havent been to any other asian countries so i have nothing to compare it too, but its been an awesome trip so far. Im here for 25 days on an exchange program, and all of the girls looooove us americans, and we met some chinese exchange students and they all loved us, all of the girls are like, oh you are very handsome! It is pretty dirty though, depends on where you are though. Life here is a lot like american, like my host brother plays video games and shit all the time, its pretty chill.
 
Have you been living under a rock? Or you're one of those who thinks only Americans have tv and video games. South Korea is more advanced than the US in many aspects

I know the rest of the world does, its just more eye opening when you actually experience it. You see how similar the world is when you see it yourself, im 16 and yes it is my first time out of North America, so it is new to me.
 
They have two channels dedicated to Starcraft. Had my 16th birthday today, been doing sooo much karaoke...
 
I know kids do, but its suuper rare. I know in korea they are extremely strict about weed, and they consider any trace of it in your body when drug tested automatically gives you an MIP, and if you get caught with it you can get deported, at least thats what these teachers at this english school for kids told us.

is there a cannabis culture like there is in western states or is it more underground similar to how other drugs are here
 
Very true, and one of the big things i noticed is the huuuuuuge amount of appartment buildings in all of korea, everywhere you go there are tons of them.
 
all i know that in japan weed is highly illegal. and its really difficult to get. but i did see a shop that sold pipes and bongs on a random ally in shibuya district tokyo.
 
Just got back from Korea. Seoul is awesome. And i was offered an internship at Seoul National University next summer for a few months for free. I love korea.
