okay so im 6 3 or 6 4 and weigh about 195. right now im riding some 180 icelantic danollies. im looking for a ski thats symmetrcial and about 185 in length. what's out there?

def. this.

the Surface New Life is a big fat rockered symmetrical ski but prob too short for you....mabey not.

those would be sick but i think maybe just a little too short. ive got 180s right now and want something a bit longer.

they might be kinda soft but 179 disorderlies? i just got a pair, and they are longer than my 182 foils. probably about a 184. and probably not TOO soft.

walls in a 185 for sure, on the stiffer side, 87 waist, 115 tip and tial symmetrical, can handle ur weight no prblem

Forget all those and think outside the box. 189 Kung Fujas! They are only 5-mm off from being fully symmetrical and they kill the park! You wont be disappointed!

BAM

those are about 195s/win

Pretty soft though, so 179 Extremes are about 185s. Disorderlys aren't noodles and 179s are about 185. Moment Reno Jib 186 2010. 198 Salomon XW Lab is the real win though if you insist on a curved tail.

yeah, I got 169 disorderlys, and they were definitely longer than other companies. But they are pretty soft so i would go with walls

Nordica Ace Of Spades is exactly what you're looking for. A 185 Wall measures about 180 really.

AOS are damn expensive though. I'm your size and just got my Dynastar Spins - 185 but they come up longer than that plus the tips are low so the running length is really long so check them out if you're not too hung up on the symmetrical thing. Or 184 Extremes which measure more like 187.

Plus you know Hatveit is bigger than you but skied 181 Rossis for years? I like long skis too but don't limit yourself too much. They're park skis, they're going to get trashed fast so get whatever you can get a deal on.

The scott P3s are just shy of symmetrical and they kill it everywhere, not to mention this years graphic is siiick..... comes in 184

nordica ace of spades ftw. fully symmetric, wood core/sidewall construction with two sheets of titanal for some additional stability. def not the best jib ski but a fucking killer ski for bigger hits and from what i hear, one of the best pipe skis out there

I'm basically the same size as you and I rock 181 Scratch Ghetto's. That little bit of stiffness is nice for us big guys.

P.S. I've been told that 185 Walls measure the same as 181's from other companies, but I've never measured myself so I can't tell you how reliable that is.

Volkl Walls in a 185 sound like your best option, your not like Andre the Giant big so it's not like even a stiff 180 is going to be crazy small.

Do note that for all ON3P, considering that we measure final not flat material length, the listed length is actually shorter than it would be compared to most companies. We just wanted our skis to measure true to length.

But the 181cm blue steele would be comparable to a 184cm ski from most companies.

Do they? Because when the norwegian ski magazine "Fri Flyt" tested skis last year, they measured every single ski, and the 177 Wall they tested turned out to be 176, so I would be surprised if the difference is that much bigger on the 185.

Yeah 185 Walls are about the same as my old 181 Rossis when I held them beside each other, which are also short compared to most others.

Hmm, I was hoping they were longer ...I guess I'll have to take a look at them myself in the local shop, and if I'm lucky, they have some 6th sense spins or other long park skis to compare with.

haha your not that big im 6'4 195 and i dont consider myself all that large
moment reno jibs
