I've had my new ski's for one season. Invaders with look px-12 jib bindings, and my season is over now. So i set my ski's down just now, and the part with the two metal bars where your heel presses down on the binding, straight just popped off the heel peice and like completey stripped the screws. What the fuck should i do now?
 
it stripped the screw but left the brake in tact?? i doubt that... ive ripped my brake off many times and simply screwed it back on... unless it cracks or something...
 
Haha, not quite emo. I"m only 15 and I have to buy all of my own gear, and I have to work for it. It blows. That's for the emotional breakdown that ALMOST happened.

I get emotional over my ski gear, as it is directly related to me being able to have fun. This seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding about brakes, but if my whole heelpiece was completely destroyed in the middle of an epic pow day, I would cry.
 
Funny story. I'm in the middle of winter break skiing in utah, in the midst of the most epic conditions i've ever had, 2 ft of fresh each day and nobody on the mountains. I'm skiing snowbird and my binding releases, and the brake broke. My ski goes rocketing down the hill, crashes full speed into a tree. The tip split wide open, and my binding was fucked. I got a new brake, made a stop at home depot and fixed it/ epoxyed the ski back together. I continued to enjoy the epic conditions and didn't worry about my ski that just split in half until i got back home.
 
Start of the season I go for a lincoln, and both of my heels rip out because i landed a little short. BOTH my heels ripped straight out and the holes were bowed out a little. I was laughing. Becuase I didn't know what else to do haha. It sucks but shit happens.
 
if it just stripped the screws, i would recommend new screws. if it stripped the holes, it will be harder, but not impossible to fix.
 
i get super emotional...i live in the ATL so if it breaks, im pretty screwed...plus i dont get to ski to much but im fixin tht problem
