This is my list. I'm just going to ignore your picks, sorry, but this is what I'm getting. And by the way, to make a thread like this successful (if you know you want those movies) you need to stress that...

Anyways, to contradict myself!

-Turbo

-Journal

-Slamina

-Claim

Why I didn't choose some of these:

Poorboyz is going downhill, IMO. They're conforming now. Riding is still sick, as always, but they're moving away from their goal that they've held all this time: Sick skiing + awesome places - filler = a PBP movie, yet now they're contradicting themselves with the idea or Reasons itself. I'm just not a fan - I liked what they did before - it was different...

Such is life would probably be on my list if I had one more choice.

I liked Stept's movie, but not enough to buy it. They slay soooo hard, don't get me wrong, but I just didn't enjoy the format - it was kinda scattered. I only watched it once, so maybe that changes with time, but I don't know, just my thoughts.

As for the movies on my list:

Turbo is great. Not as good as REALTIME in composition, but the filming and skiing are crazy good. I loved it and I love Level 1, so I choose to support them.

Journal - Haven't seen this one yet, but it seems like the opposite of what PBP used to be, and is what they're trying to be now - a touchy, feely movie. I love the sensative movies, they're great and reflect a season better than any other type. The mood and atmosphere, if edited right, is palpable. I love it. Watch REALTIME if you want to know how this works. I hope this lives up to my expectations - that'd be sick.

Slamina, at first, I wasn't impressed with. For some reason I was expecting huge jumps and ultimate shit...but as I thought about it, it was pretty damn sick. TWall, Stepp, and Harlaut kill it - the movie ends with a switch 12 from Henrik in the BC: CRAZY! I really, really, really loved Jeff Kiesel's part though. I don't know why, it was just pretty damn sick.

CLAIM: Matchstick movies are always awesome. They have the biggest budget of all the film companies, and so they're movies are always great. I've found that their best movies are the ones with themes - like Yearbook and The Hit List; both are entertaining and awesome. Claim has a theme, obviously, so it should be sick as well.

Damn, that was a really long post for such a simple thread...

... What? Turbo is a 1st. If you want to get a movie with a ton of sick park and urban, why would you get Slamina over Turbo? Slamina is mediocre until Harlaut and Wallisch's segments... Turbo is amazing plus it has an incredible Wallisch segment, an orgasmic Will Wesson segment, and Rainville... I mean... honestly? You honestly would put Turbo behind Slamina?
