I have not skied in over 2 months because of a blown acl and its really starting to get to me. really. FUCK FUCK FUCK over not skiing FUCK

have you had surgery? if not, go shred some greens... your leg still works without an acl. Lots of people make turns without ACLs. Anyone whos had their knees replaced doesnt have an ACL.

yeah, in the second i clicked on it (while it was loading) i thought about going backwards again pretty fast so i wouldnt have to read that sad story.

but this, comon guy, i mean i sucks of course, but lifes more than skiing. i hadnt blown my acl or somewhat equal, but i 1 month holidays in february with only 2 days of skiing (26 days bad weather, storms but without actual pow), that sucks too
 
I feel your pain, but it could always be worse. You could have no timetable for when you're going to get back to skiing. Or you could be like this one world cup racer who ripped up his knee so badly they had to amputate the bottom of his leg.

But, my advice, what I've been doing, watch lots of ski movies (ie: Candide Invitational Story) while doing your physio and keep in mind it's almost summertime. Backyard parties with lots of beers = fun times. And ladies totally dig on boys with crutches, you've got the 'I want to help you, cuddle you to make you feel better' thing going for you, work it!
 
when i read the title i thought of my freind haha. this kid will try anything, its redic. his whole philosiphy on life is that hes going to get killed trying something soon so he just tries whatever. its acually so cool to know some one like this cuz i can have goals to try and do what he does, but hes just to good hahah anyone else know someone like this? sorry for changing the topic, hope your ACL gets better soon
 
Know the feeling. Haven't skied in over a month and wont be able to do shit for at least two more cause I destroyed my knee cap on a down flat down rail at the End of the day......of course. Needed surgery and now I have a couple nice pins and wires. My cast goes up the whole length of my leg. My trip to Breck to visit my brother is blown away FUCK
 
hahahaha!! i wish i was you, like honestly that would be a step better for me! i havent skied in 2 years because of 2 torn ACLs, 2 years in a row, both in october, that put me out all winter for 2 years!!
 
word dude, i know some one who skiied with a blown ACL but becarfull because it did hurt him in the long run, he ended up haveing to get 2 sergeries instead of one, so id ski before the season is over, but nothing real crazy to hurt your self
 
shieet, did the same thing. I was like wait i am not in the mood for sad stories.

+ vibes anyways that sucks blowinig out your acl, hope it heals soon and your back shreedding in nottime.
