My buddy is taking me to bevmo (a beverages store) so I can stock up on goodies when I move to school. I know it's early, but I have shit else to do. What should I buy? (besides like a million 30 packs of bud light)

I'm down for stuff to make mixed drinks, but not crazy complicated ones.

 
uhhh where are you going to be living in a dorm room? cause if you are I wouldn't stock up, cause they probably dont allow it in the dorms
 
They don't, but that's why you hide it away in a second fridge under the bed or in a closet. I've dormed before so I know how to get around it.
 
a handle of legit vodka, because the posibilities are endless.
maybe some tequila and rum and if you really into partying some everclear

Coconut Run (to mix with 151 and make caribou Lou)

Some Kind of Vodka, I like Svedka the best, but Popov is what I usually buy for the lower end stuff

Smirnoff cranberry for mixing/ shots, Grey goose for same.

Gin, I'm blanking on the name right now. But Gin is my favorite mixer.

That'll keep you set for a few months (hopefully haha)

otherwise i suggest codeine, 7 up and a jolly rancher...in two to three cups piled on top of each other.

But gin is a great mixer. Straight gin with cranberry juice is good, or any other juice. Then there's gin and tonic of course, and you can mix flavors into that. It's simple, tasty, and effective!
 
Beefeater is a gin, but it's definitely not nationwide. If you haven't seen it yet chances are it's not in your area.

It really depends on what you're booze shopping FOR... I'm going to assume it's a moderately sized party (20ish people) given your choice to go with a lot of 30 racks instead of a keg. Fuck Bud Light and PBR either way, Miller Lite is the ideal drinking game beer. Smooth and light enough for chugging but it actually tastes decent for what it is. Next, a few 12 packs of good microbrews for you and your boys... and whatever girls you're trying to poke. Lastly, lots of cheap gin and vodka for a gin bucket. You don't need mixed drinks, just a gin bucket. It will fuck people up, and it tastes delicious. Look it up if you don't know how to make one because believe me - they're bomb shit.

If you're going to have much more than 25 people though, get a fucking keg. Such a better deal, and they're a lot more party/cleaning/everything-friendly than a lot of cans.
 
if you looking for beer. Ive been liking sam adams more and more recently. get the variety 30 and have a taste of every thing then pick your favorite and go with that.
 
Watch your mouth...haha...Key Light is the beer of choice in the big CO (You're in Coors country bitch!!) and I think it is a lot better than PBR and Natty Light
 
Nah it's going to be for dead nights kicking back in my dorm. Beers and some stuff that's good for shots and mixing.

I think I'm gonna end up getting lots of bud lights (I like crappy beer) and a couple of handles of decent vodka with juices and stuff to mix it. I don't want 438543 different kinds of things crowding up my fridge cause it's a only a mini.
 
fyi bro its legal in the us now... buy some goldshlagger (sp) cause it has a delicious cinammon taste and it is a good convo strter
 
Hold the phone, that's what it's for!? Fuck commercial beer man, you can do better than that. At the very least get a full-flavor beer... but seriously, get yourself some danky microbrews. If you live anywhere near PA make the trip and get Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat - as much of it as you fucking can. Anyone who has had it knows it's the best beer ever created. If not grab some Magic Hat, Blackbeary Wheat, Red Stripe, I mean fuck - SOMETHING that's gonna be delicious and refreshing every time. For liquor, go with the Jack Daniels. Nothing screams baller like sippin' on a glass of straight Jack on the rocks for the quiet nights at home.
 
i've always said life is too short to waste it on shitty beer, hence i never buy any less than the delicious canadian goodness known as blue light... maybe the coors tastes better in CO? but i know keys dont stand a chance wherever they are haha
 
dude all u need is a couple bottles of vodka and sake and mix them together with a lemon twist and it'll get u drunk so fast
its good because u dont need to buy that much to get a bunch of poeple drunk

Make some of your own, my chemistry teacher taught us how bcause nwhen he was at uni he would always make some and then sell it to other people and drink the rest, it aint easy to spot your making it either.

40s of each, a few 2-4s of cheaper beer and about 30 tall boys of nice imported beer.

Thats if you have a fortune to spend, and you want to be baller as fuck.
 
for easy mixed drinks i can only tell you what we do here:

bacardi cola, like the name says

vodka bull, vodka and some sort of energy

jäger cola, jägermeister and coke

caipiroshka, vodka and sprite, better than you might think

ouzo/raki, just add some water

that's the cheap shit i drink to get drunk, bacardi and coke tastes pretty good though

Well the thing is I'm not gonna blow tons of money on booze that's just going to mooched on. I don't mind if they mooch a little, but I DO mind if they're mooching good stuff.
