I hate all you americans and your dirty shipping policies. Recently, all I see is these mad cheap prices on Ski Equipment from REI.com, steepandcheap.com and proctorjones.com but if I ever wanted to get something shipped to Canada I'd get raped on shipping. It pretty much comes out to regular price. We need some Canadian store to have crazy discounted stuff

Yeah, thanks to the Candian government it is a real pain in the ass to ship to Canada. Between your customs and taxes it can double the price of an item. On the other side it is real easy and cheap to get items shipped from Canada to the states.

wow nice assumption about my knowlage..... but they do subsidize lumber they ship to the us so they can be cheaper on the US markets then US lumber. i really don't care tho let them cut down their trees. and its not hard to figure out that the US has the a shady labor policy in every aspect.

Check out www.corbettssports.com It's a little shop in Canada (I think around Toronto.) Their website isn't much to speak of, so call them. They'll let you haggle, and you can get sick (and I really mean sick) deals. I buy all of my equipment from them.

If you live in canada and close to the border, get them shipped to the states and go pick them up. i ordered from backcountry.com, shipping is free so that saved me a bit. ended up paying couple bucks in taxes though. if you're up north then... shitty.

corbett's is in oakville. im going there now actually:) pretty decent shop.
