I'm gettin some new skis lookin for advice

so i am getting some new skis and i have been shopping around for a while, i'm trying not to spend a lot of money like under 350 for skis, i spend probably 35% of my day in the park the rest is just skiing all over the mountain, and i ski the east always but a trip out west once every few years, i have been skiing public enemys for the last few years and i am in need of some new sticks so i am looking for something similar to those but not k2 or line, k+++ for help

anyways, look in to armada t halls, ar6's, possibly arv's or el reys..

Rossi s2, s3, and s4

i dont want to reccomend any symmetrical skis because you ski more all mountain that park so that wouldnt make any sense to invest in to those types of skis.
 
you ski springs dude i ski springs all the time, thanks for the help i might go for some ar6s i saw for $299 but then i'm thinkin that the el reys would ski more like my old PEs
 
no way! thats sick.

yeah ill be up at springs every weekend, but im just starting park this year so im not that good. ar6's are like the perfect ski for there if you want a medium flex ski thats not symmetrical. however, if you like to mess around on the groomers and lost girl trail and stuff like that, you may want to look in to the thall..its the ar6, just the flex points moved closer to the binding for easier butters
 
yeah dude springs is so sick for around here, so you think the ar6 would be good for skiing springs? i was thinkin about the el rey too but i am just a little sketchy cause i think the ar6 and t hall are too park oriented and i don't ski that much park but $299 for some ar6s is a steal
 
only thing is i do more all mountain than park and i am just a little sketchy on getting those cause i thought they would be more all mountain, how well do they perform all mountain??
 
stiffer flexing park ski equates to a killer all mountain stick, just the nature of the beast. quick edge to edge, bamboo core for snap and life, would be perfect.
 
ON3P Jeronimos. Or the new S3s if you can find them for cheap. But if you order the Jeronimos now theyre only $399

and i think i have narrowed it down to the armada el rey and the ar6 i am just a little concerned about the all mountain performance of the ar6, so if anyone knows how the ar6 performs all mountain that would be clutch because i ski more all mountain than park

i am thinkin about the el rey cause i hear it rips all mountain but i am just a little sketchy cause i thought it was a kind of beginner ski but i am not sure, so if anyone knows that would help a lot

Go for the EL Rey. The Invader was dubbed a beginner ski, most definitely was used by everyone. But if you want something stiffer I would not get Armada. No matter how stiff people say they are, they are still super soft.
 
yeah dude, i did a lot of research..

The ar6 is going to be just as good as the el rey all mountain and better in the park because its sidewall construction vs. cap, which is what the el rey has. the durability will also be better becuase of sidewall (generally speaking) and im pretty sure since its sidewall it will be more torsionally stiff than the el rey, which is good because the tails arer sorta stiff for backseat landings, under the foot is really good for all mountain rippinga,and the tips are medium to soft for butters qnd fooling around.

theres many more positives to the ar6 than the el rey. go ar6, dont worry if its too park orianted because its not. sure they say its their true park ski, but it can be taking out for all mountain cruising confortably because of the torsinal stiffness, the nonsymmetrical sidecut, and how you can mount it anywhere from -5 (100% all mountain) -2.5 (%50 park, %50 all mountain), or center (100% park obviously) and anywhere inbetween. also, you can ride all mountain at center and you can do all park at -2.5. it rides well all over as long as you keep it in that mounting "zone"
