yeah dude, i did a lot of research..
The ar6 is going to be just as good as the el rey all mountain and better in the park because its sidewall construction vs. cap, which is what the el rey has. the durability will also be better becuase of sidewall (generally speaking) and im pretty sure since its sidewall it will be more torsionally stiff than the el rey, which is good because the tails arer sorta stiff for backseat landings, under the foot is really good for all mountain rippinga, and the tips are medium to soft for butters qnd fooling around.
theres many more positives to the ar6 than the el rey. go ar6, dont worry if its too park orianted because its not. sure they say its their true park ski, but it can be taking out for all mountain cruising confortably because of the torsinal stiffness, the nonsymmetrical sidecut, and how you can mount it anywhere from -5 (100% all mountain) -2.5 (%50 park, %50 all mountain), or center (100% park obviously) and anywhere inbetween. also, you can ride all mountain at center and you can do all park at -2.5. it rides well all over as long as you keep it in that mounting "zone"
