I'm tired of logging into my facebook and seeing all these beaten dogs, children with cancer, etc. People are not going to give $1 dollar to these kids. FUCKING STOP IT PLEASE! So ya I'm mad bro! [end rant]

I agree with you. Shit like this will be the death of Facebook.

I already make more posts on my twitter account than on my Facebook account.
 
I'm not talking like contest sways. I really don't care about that. I'm talking about the things I mentioned in the OP.
 
yeah i agree. They are feeding post whores who just want a bunch of fucking likes on their photos of suffering animals and people. The worst offenders are the stupid people that say "Like this if you think this person is beautiful" and its some child with progeria. All of those dumbass kids who post and like those photos saying "omg soo beautiful" don't actually think that, and will never think about those kids for another second after they close that page. What makes it even MORE nauseating is the fact that both parties (poster and liker) are delusional enough to the believe they are somehow doing a good deed by liking and uploading a photo to Facebook.

It is just such a fatuous and hypocritical Facebook trend and I can't stand it. It comes off as condescending to me. People like to pretend they care so others look at them as being a "good" person, and by doing so they successfully hide their selfish tendencies from themselves.
