A friend of mine ended up getting paid 1 dollar to fly, I forget where but it was good. It was cuz he had a cheap ticket, and cuz he agreed to some terms that earned him money, so it ended up that the airline paid him.

Add:

Airport + Landing taxes

Minimal Baggabe Allowance

Food+Drink on the flight etc etc..

Many of the low-cost carriers are doing this now - the UK/EU is flooded with them, but there are certainly added costs on top of the advertised price.
