I'm coming (minneapolis) to town in January!

Is it worth it for me to bring my skis? I won't have a car, so how easy is it to get to any ski areas on public trans?

also, if anyone would be down to shoot some urban let me know. I'll be staying near the vikings stadium

Hyland is good and it's close to the cities. Idk about public transportation though.
