hmmmm.. where are you? back in PA? There are a few groups summer sessioning but a lot of them are at camp or headed to camp.
 
blue knob is a little far from us up by blue mtn. one of my friends went to highschool by blue knob though, in altoona.
 
There's an ice factory in North Cambria that will save their shavings for you in these huge bins in the freezer if you throw them $30 or so.
 
north cambria? the best rink we've found is on 222 a little north of reading. they pretty much said they will resurface the rinks whenever we want. unfortunately, thats over an hour drive from my house, and with it being as hot out as its been, the snow would be slush by the time we got it anywhere.
 
Justo, you would be surprised.. if you can get a hook up with a 6 wheel dump truck or a large pick up.... on how long that slush lasts.

Nipples last august sessioned a rail for 6 hours in a drizzling 85 degree rain from a pickup load. The secret was to throw the shavings on a thick strip of carpet.
 
Yeah, at the place I was talking about, we used to get like, 3 big pickup loads...it was a 2 hour drive home, and the snow lasted all day...carpet helps a lot.
 
Thats what we did for KT's graduation last year. we got a pickup truck load of snow to have a little session. it was 80 and rained most of the morning, and then the sun came out. the next morning on my way to work there was still snow left laying on the carpet we used.
