I'm and idiot, and in need of computer skilled people!

So my computer was running really low, and i decided it was a good idea to delete some "unused" programs. I started deleting away, and in my deleting frenzy, i accidently deleted the sound program for windows xp, soundmas, or something. I tried to system reset but it didnt work, and so now I have no sound on my computer.

sparknotes: I have no sound, and need to get it back, fast
 
you need to download the sound drivers necessary for your computer. it depends on what kind of sound card you have, or whether it's built in to the motherboard. you should be able to find some places to find the downloads online
 
or you could just do a system restore...

dell tech support will fucking fix ur sit dude, they are godly at it, go to them, you might need to take the 1/2 hour, but they will give you the necessary drivers you need
 
For future reference, how were you removing programs? Were you using their actual installer or were you just deleting the folders?
 
I think installing Linux causes you to move one step further away from the pussy and exhibits some true geekiness. Luckily enough I already have a girlfriend so running Linux doesn't compromise my pussy-getting abilities.

 
we were at my friends house and he was running a version of it. this chick was all like HOLY SHIT YOU HAVE TRANSPARENT WINDOWS.

i guess transparent windows turn chicks on.
