I was filling out an online application for Housing at U of U, and it was scrolling through all the agreements.

Naturally i dont read them i just selected "Yes" that i agree.

so i get to the end, and it says, "You have been banned from going any further". So i went back and read the questions.

So one of the questions i selected "Yes" for says "Have you ever been convicted of being a sex offender"

So beat i dont know what to do

 
what about sex offenders that are trying to get their lives back on track?

they just can't live there?

that's kinda discriminatory.
 
they are trying to make some sort of living arangements for former sex offenders in minnesota, like give them their own hotel thing up north
 
In a harsh way, you're right. That's a pretty funny story though because I bet even sex offenders don't even check that box.
 
totally right in saying you arent ready for college. i do the same things, but when its for something important, i read it. you need to make sure you understand and agree to everything before you sign, because your signature is proof that you "read through" and "acknowledged" and "agreed" to everything on the contract. even if you didnt read one word, thats what your signature says.

but funny story, call them and explain.

I read your post thinking it was from 2006. Thought it was so funny you called him an Am but now it's not funny anymore.
 
please be trolling. Somebody convicted of 1st degree rape is not trying to get their life back together enough to board at U of U...
