yeah so i was pulling into the lot where i park my car and this cop had a guy pulled over. so i drive past and park and as i'm getting out of the car the cop pulls behind my car. she might have been talking to me, but i had my headphones on and it was loud music. i just looked at her and went to my back seat, grabbed my board & my sandwhich and then she was standing right next to me. so i take off my headphones and the conversation followed:

her: you can't drive with those

me: with what?

her: with those headphones on, you could get smashed by an emergency vehical

me: oh, my bad.

her: yeah, it happened a year ago, just around the cornor. so don't let it happen again. this is a warning.

me: wow, okay.

then she got back into her car and i shut all my car doors. and skated away, half way to my dorm and i released 'fuck i don't have my keys'

go back, cars locked and running. so i have to called the cu campus police to come and open my car. thankfully my dad put a key behind the license plate. so i told them i needed a screw driver. so the brought me a screw driver and i got into my car.

lesson learned. always put a spare key behind your license plate.

na you duct tape it to the car....mines been there for 3 years without falling out. this is the first use i've gotten out of it.

My friend locked my other friends ONLY key in his trunk on his first day with his license and he was driving his sisters brand new car.

Such a good idea! I locked my keys in my car at my mtn - if there was only a spare behind the license plate...

ya i have onstar but it doesn't work in car garages. so i was at universal studios underneath my truck...in a skirt getting the key that's up in my wheel well.

On my car, the doors wont lock if the car is running and a door is open, or if you try to use the remote lock, so thats not possible for me. haha

yea but i have heard of people going around and stelling licenses plates. if they took it off and saw the key, you can probably bet that your car would be gone as well...

i'd hope they'd wreck my car...i wouldn't mind a new one. yeah my front license plate got swiped. but it would just be a stripe of duct tape behind there, no one would be like 'oh what do we have here if they were in a hurry to leave.

ha, that's lucky. my friend locked his keys in his car and then he missed out on a morning of fine skiing waiting for the locksmith.

I left my keys in my car on wednesday, and i don't know where they are. i have like 5 others for some reason, but it had a volkl key chain on it. luckily, nobody would want to steal the car. the keys were even right in the ignition.

i keep a spare in my car, and if i get locked out i will just punch my window in or something...but the liscense plate thing is a good idea

if someone else has a set of the remote openers at a different location, call them up and tell them to put their key near the phone, put your phone near the doorhandle, and tell em to press unlock. it will unlock the car through the phones frequency. we actually had to do this today at work. so, yes, it does actually work

uh oh now my ns stalkers are gonna swipe my car. i also keep one under the car....but i don't remember where under the car. if you can find it, i'll buy you a jr bacon cheeseburger.
