Its only been like 1 months sence i last went sking at a resort and im starting to go insane. Not sure if im going to make the summer. No snow, no girl and 85 degrees with 85% humidity.

Skiing is never a sport, but a lifestyle.

Some people question 'why' and wonder 'how'. They just can't seem to grasp 'how' or 'why' we do what we do. Others don't understand, they just continue to wonder. The truth of the mater is that we can't explain it either. All we can say is 'snow so deep you sink up to your hips', 'hits so big you can't see the landing', 'rails with all kinds of bends and kinks', 'natural cliffs and tree runs that you can't explain with any other word than sick' and still they don't understand what we do. On a board or skiis, it is the same. A feeling of freedom and expression in a way so uncommon. But still, they don't understand....

Megs, a good friend of mine says: 'Feel the fear, and do it anyway.' When you do, than you will understand.'
 
Yea i have bakc year set up thats supper sick and water ramp with stakes but still it sucks ass. Summer blows.

my season has been over with for a while, but there are still 2 more days of riding for me: Snowfest at tyrol basin, WI, June 5-6

im goin up skiing tomorow on our ski basins rapidly deteriorating snow.... 70 degrees forcasted up there tomorow.... luckily we have two jocks to dig our jumps for us. im also going up to a basin soon

i was going nuts the day after my mountain closed...and i'm still gonna be until next year. we're getting a HUGE new park too so it'll be sick.

if it is any consolation, this is the worst time for you. you are fresh off the skiing addiction. By the middle of the summer you will miss it a lot less. The time it gets me the worst is november when it gets cold but there is still no snow to ski on...

yea ^^^ right now it really hurts, but by mid summer i dont miss it as much because the gurls get out in bikinis, but then in the fall all i do is get hockey rink snow and set up rails in a attempt to get some kind of skiin action

I'm going crazy too. It's been like 2 months since I last went skiing. It's going to be 90 tomorrow.. I'm not one for hot weather, so I don't know how I'll survive. Plus there's no one in my school I can actually talk to about skiing and they'd understand.

 
my season ended 2 months ago when lacrosse started.. then when lacrosse ends i guess ill just sit by the pool and chill cant wait till next season its gonna be crazy!!

my season ended a month ago and every day since then i have either hit up a tramp or watched my ski movies....usually both.... i think i am gonna cry too ....but i only hav to wait till july for my season to start....ARGENTINA! yay

 
it makes me cry too and my season ended more than a month ago...but no it pisses me off cuz i realized that i couldve still skied in the east even though it was crappy until like 2 weeks ago...just plain pisses me off.....but i do kinda liek fall cuz its the antisipation of the ski season and i liek that

i ended my season by breaking my shoulder, not too bad but enough that i didnt have full mobility in my arm for a month..now i just watch all my ski vids, trampoline..like every day, and frequent NS, and i am working on my summer set-up making new rails and having a blast..but i still cant wait to get back on the mtn.

Out of all of my friends im the most obsessed with skiing. This year after skiing was over i realized how much i love skiing, but i do so many sports that i don't have to worry about being bored, but i really do wish it was winter in VT all year cause the other 3 seasons blow! and VT is a hell hole

Im not so worried I just go up to timberline during the summer and ski the public park on the glacier where we currently still have a 160 inches of snow

 
yah im pretty bored right now but once the summer comes i can surf and wakeboard and get trashed everynight, so it wont be to bad, but right now it blows, nothin to do
