You can't go onto a web site that mostly consists of rich kids, who eat whatever mommy and daddy tell them as long as they get their skis and car and car insurance and and spend money and clothes, and college paid for, then expect to tell them Bush is a terrible president.

... and just for the record, just because you have 3 cars and your neighbors have 4 doesn't mean you're not rich.

When you have to take out loans for college, and work an entire summer to save enough money for a pass and jacket... then come and tell me you're not rich.

The least i can ask for is my college tuition not to go up 10% every year.

I like Bush and I have hung drywall for 4 years and have my own business now. I am paying for all my college and didn't have take out loans. I bought a HDR FX1, live on my own, never even talk to my parents, have a sick computer, and nice ski gear, and travel all over, and I;'m not rich. I just work harder then you. And I'm 18. Who cares?
 
Sorry bro, I'm not interested in my tax dollars paying for "wars" (ACTUALLY military police actions) over in the sand box. I supported action in afghanistan... because they had a problem with us. Iraq on the other hand, thats a differnt story. We're going to have troops stationed there for at least 15 more years guaranteed. It'll be just like Vietnam and Korea. Recruitment is down and I don't want to risk a draft. If you support whats going on, you can get your ass over there, strap up, and get down to business. Let one of those other guys (or girls) come home. Trust me... i doubt they would like to be over there.

Yes here it goes, I'm going to break down and say it: Karl Rove is a political genius. It was he who found out that Bushy could sway the American public by hating gays, abortion, and islam. Who the fuck cares whether people here are starving, men are being brought back in bags and wheel chairs from the desert, I won't be able to pay my college loans off until I'm 35, and the world views us are arrogent assholes.

All that matters is that we're going to heaven because gays and abortion is bad, and Arabs are going to burn in hell for ever. Oh yeah we also have a nice foothold for the insuing energy wars in the next 75 years.

Also, I don't know what college you are attending, but here in the Micro Biology department of the University of Pittsburgh, we're a pretty busy crew. Not only do i have 17 credits a semester, but I work 2 Laboratory jobs. One is unpaid, so I can complete research requirements, and the other is for $7 an hour. In the summer I work construction because it pays more plus i tke 3 credits. And this is all for working my way up to medical school, so i can work even harder and get more into debt. Don't get on my ass about working hard dude. Not to say that you don't, but don't tell me that I'm some lazy bastard and thats why i can't pay for college on my own. $25,000 a year man... sucks don't it.
 
How does one go to school and have their own drywall business at the same time? I spend about 20-30 hours in the library every week at this fucking place. What the hell school are you at where you have that kind of time.

Mainly its more of me being a independant contractor, meaning that its not a big business, but I make 25 - 35 bucks and hour and have people work for me alot during the summer. I wasn't dissing on you that you can't just say you work hard and that makes bush suck, because everyone I work with digs him and they are old and work their asses off. Most of the taxes you pay anyway is probably social security and medicare and that crap, not the war. Really the rich should bitch about the war, not the poor. Why? Because the rich pay WAY more taxes. Like way over 50 percent of it, your taxes is pennies man.
 
you see why we call them ignorant.....now, if this post was used to state a legitimate opinion on the matter, not just a ridiculous statement like this, then we would have no basis to call them ignorant....but when they say shit like "bush sucks," or "bush is a terrible president," w/o saying anything intelligent at all, we believe them to be ignorant....so just dont say anything dumb, and try to put some thought (if u have any) into what you say next time.....it will prevent these petty arguments that we are involved in now.....thanks
 
Asac, it's not as if the picture is all that funny... and the caption DOES say "I'm a terrible president!", which should have made you expect angry people. You couldn't expect a thread full of "lol" an "haha".

As for Bush himself, I'm past the point of caring. Some people would still have voted for him if he had knocked at their doors and said (this isn't my opinion I'm about to state): "I'm a fucking moron, don't vote for me, vote for Kerry". No matter what the facts are... there isn't even a point to arguing against them. Besides, I realized a few months ago that I live in Canada and by the time I graduate from college it's impossible that he still be in office. So, basically, he has no impact whatsoever on me, and consequently, I don't give a fuck (anymore).
