I don't think it's supposed to really be an argument actually. Surprisingly enough. Although with the shit that gets put out there as "argument" on this site I guess it can be hard to tell sometimes.
 
lol, how is he ignorant? is it now ignorant to dislike your country's leader? Poeple have been doing it since george washington. People throw the term "ignorant" around sooooooo much, and it's funny because it can be VERY ironic.

I don't agree with asac on most political issues, but he isn't ignorant. Open your eyes bud
 
He's not, it's just a big word a bunch of the kids on here picked up at some point to toss around. Well, not that big a word, but they try to keep it to 3 syllables or fewer so that they don't get confused, you understand.

It must be getting embarassing to be a conservative on NS with all the kids on your side nowadays. At least when you were in the minority, it was a minority with a modicum of common sense.

... Excluding Wilkes, of course, who apparently thinks mormons are God's chosen people because he wanted good ski terrain. That guy's just off his nut.
 
on the subejct of using the word ignorant incorrectly, my friend was talking in french class and not listening to the teacher and she called him ignore. She is fluent in english so shes another one of those use ignorant incorrectly people
 
Do you mean you're an ignorant piece of shit?

Maybe if Bush supporters didn't come off as 12 year olds having trouble in English class there would be less issues.
 
Hey, not all of them do. Skiinstead doesn't. It's just most of the ones on NS these days that give that impression.
 
^Thank You J.D., and yes you are very right, it was quite nic being able to defend a position while it was somewhat rare. Now everyone thinks they konw everything (I by absolutley no means know everything), and it's hard to even speak about any political or debateable issue at all without having to sift through all the typical NS posts.
 
Poeple can have oppinions. They are obviously different than yours, but politics is almost 90% just that. Opinion. So if someone has a different view than you, that does not make them uneducated.

Even if I do see some issues from the same perspective as you, I wouldn't even call someone ignorant because they said GWB is a "terrible president"
 
Its the facts they base their opinions on and their reasoning, really almost everyone on here is ignorant. How old are you skinsted? If your not like 15 you will understand that these kids don't understand the economy, politics, foreign relations, and war. They have nothing to base their opinions on. Ignorance is the lack of knowledge and being unaware. And for the most part they have no concrete facts to back their decisions and are unaware of most everything in the world today.
 
The fact that you think you do is equally suspect. Are you a poli sci major? How many academic papers have you written on this? How well read are you on the subject? Name 10 books you've read on IR theory. Can't? Then quit judging people.
 
You can't say the kid is ognorant when he makes a joke. This wans't a serious political debate so there isn't any reason to be accusing people of ignorance. What you think every time someone makes a joke about our government it is ignorance? I sure hope not, it has been going on since the colonies first began. A joke does not prove ignorance.

And btw, I am 18 and I think I can hold my own in maturity, compared to 90% of this site. so don't push me there bud.
