agree with this dude i had about 28 days /played (aka time spent in the game) and i got to lvl 70 and all that bs and then at 70 it like control your life DONT DO IT!
 
in 28 days? damn son. i was only level 49 but i had all epics and i shat on people in battlegrounds. i had over 1000g. ANYWAY DONT START

i played for a good solid two years... horrible horrible times. thank god i stopped. but i think i wont be able to resist when the new one comes out :/

 
wow really isnt addictive. now everquest, that game ruled my life 6-8th grade. but it was ok, since it was middleschool and school didnt count for shit and i couldnt drive anywhere to do stuff anyways
 
haha dude thats funny as hell, EQ consumed my life in jr high as well, tallon zek represent haha, i played wow for about 8 months and sold my account and made a couple hundo, haven't looked back, will never play again.
 
ive played world of warcraft twice. not addictive, it was the gayest shit ive ever played. ill just be walking along then all of a sudden some faggot wolf thing will kill me. but i was addicted to runescape from like 4-6th grade. i fucking pwned to. i was a lvl 89 i think.

haha, runescape. I used to play that shit too, i played for like 3 years, such a huge waste of time. I was fucking rich too, until I sold my party hats (i had 5 at one point), worst fucking decision ever. I could have easily made a a couple G's off it if I kept them, but instead I got $300 when I sold my stuff
 
never play WoW... Ruined my life for like 2 years, weekends were shot... once you get up in the levels there's no turning back... its either play all the time or play none of the time.... go ski man dont do it

But yaa...Everyone says it consumes your life, but it only does if you let it. I had a char that was ranked top 30 in the world for his class, and I didn't play it anymore than many people. You can still be good at it and not play it alot, its all about finding the right group of people.

Eventually I did get sick of playing though, and sold my account. I made enough to buy some Dalbello Il moro's and new outerwear haha, so worth it.
 
Exactly. All you people hating have never played. Even those who said they played two years and it ''ruined their life'' are faggots. In most cases (yes all* you guys) you can't be ''addicted'' to a video game, you obviously liked it and kept playing. Plus, most of you haters are going to turn around and go play Halo 3, is that any better?

I played WoW on and off for about a year and a half. Never did it ''consume my life'' or ''suck out my soul''. So STFU!

P.S. I wouldn't recommend picking WoW up now unless you have lots of spare time or a couple of buddies to play with. The game is pretty developed into the higher levels so you may not have much fun if you're just starting out.
 
P.P.S. I just remembered they quickened the leveling pace and added new content for lower level players. So maybe leveling won't be too bad.
 
played it, got to 70, over it. after that, all there is to do is try and get all the epic sets for your class, which will take about twice as long as it took you to get to 70. no point really, cause about 100 nerds on your server already have all of that shit, and are 10x better at the game than you.
 
hahaha agreeed. if you want to come in contact with a vagina during your lifetime, dont play that game. A level 70 wont get you laid.

hmm...and you are a fucking dumbass, just to let you know I've had a girlfriend for a year and a half, and I play WoW and I go to school and I find time to ski...so to all of you haters out there fuck you. It's a video game if you don't like it fine. The kid just wanted to know where he could download and buy the game, not hear "wow you're a fag"...and what does getting a girlfriend have anything to do with wondering where he can get the game?

it takes longer than that. I didn't really get into it until later in the game, still fun the first time you play though.
 
yeah same for me...i didn't enjoy it that much right away...but when you start leveling...going to new places...and seeing what higher level people have, you want it too.
 
Like a couple other people have posted, it only "takes over your life" if you let it. It's just like any other fun video game, or good tv show, etc.. If you don't take it in moderation, and do nothing else, of couse you're going to say it took over - but really, that's just you choosing to do nothing else.

Not to mention the guy made the thread asking about whether or not he could download it, not asking for your opinions on the game. This is why I hate NS. Why do you feel the need to hate on everybody for everything?
