I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight.....

* If you grow up in Hawaii , raised by your grandparents, you're "exotic, different."

* Grow up in Alaska eating moose burgers, a quintessential American story.

* If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

* Name your kids Willow , Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

* Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.

* Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well grounded.

* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a

state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.

* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive.

* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real Christian.

* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a Christian.

* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.

* If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state's school system your being responsible

yeah, baracks my boy. hopefully people will realize that what theyre saying about barack is mostly untrue and the fact that he is unexperienced is absurd, i mean, its not like mccain has been president, hes just mad old, and prob gonna die in his first term anyways

mccain. left his old wife for a chick 20 years younger than him. i still dont think family should be brought into it but they have so i left it in

what i would liek to know is out of barack and Mccain, who is making promises to help fix the enviorment.

I agree with all of what you said, but this election has turned into Obama vs. Palin, everyone compares those two instead of Obama and McCain, how it should be.

my point would be, that arguments they have againt him should also apply to the woman who is one heartbeat away from being president. will she become president? hopefully/most likely not. but there is the chance she might, so she needs to be under the same scrutiny

ok if you say so...

where did you buy that crystal ball? i want one...

McCain will be our next president, dont hate it. Dont use this Bullshit excuse about age please...

what now?

its gonna be a damn close race again.

WHICH IS WHY EVERYONE. REGARDLESS OF WHO YOU VOTE FOR NEEDS TO VOTE

wow so i just got a PM from Ride Dirty...

and i quote...

"Hahahaha dont get mad because your a white, and you dont wanna see a black president man.."

swing and a miss....

Word. I cant believe that McCain could get any more votes with that dumbass. I cant also believe how the alaskans voted her to be their governor.

i am interested, in your opinion why is she a dumbass?

for not agreeing with you? i dont see how that qualifies her as a dumbass..

O seriously what listed in her resume gives her any standing to be vice president or more than likeley president? nothing, she is a politics ploy to swing hillary voters and anyone with a brain can see that

yeah but that doesnt make her a dumbass. just because she isnt qualified to be president doesnt mean shes a dumbass.

Yeah well you're right. Kind of. But i just cant think anything else of a person whose pro-life, but supports capital punishment, and who also probably would lead your country to more wars.

On an another note atleast most of Europe dont like republicans, and i might be biased by that too.

i'm a little confused too, because obama's tv ads make fun of mccain for not being

able to type on a computer..........but isn't that because the vietcong broke his fingers too

many times?

uh, the fact that half of those arent even related to the election, the policies the candidates support, and the problems our country faces makes that entire post seem weak. I see what he's trying to do, but way to go ad hominem on about have of those. You brought some good points too life and added some stuff I didnt know which is good, but Im pretty sure a bunch of those points didn't include a lot of stuff that McCain has done.

How about because moose burgers, names for children, colleges corresponding to mental stability, and spousal history have about .07% to do with the election. This post is meaningless. And it’s not that I love McCain either, I just really hope Obama isn’t our next president. You could take any one of those statements and do the opposite for a pro-republican post, and I think the thread creator is smart enough to know that. Plus, you’re sort of just picking Palin anyway; most of that stuff has no bearing on one’s ability to lead a nation or implement policies for a better America.

biden hasn't been going around making false accusations and claims about mccain like palin about obama. the only thing biden has said is that he respects mccain.. pretty classy if you ask me. thats the main reason he isn't under the same scrutiny. i don't see why people support palin, except for the insanely right evangelicals

not entirely factual. she did ask the librarian multiple times if she would be WILLING to ban books. The librarian said no. and if im not mistake eventually she was fired. but from what i understand Palin never actually gave a list of books to be banned, merely asked whether the librarian would ever ban books in the first place. I still think thats morally wrong, but, its been blown a little out of proportion.

not to mentioon his current wife helped with mother teresa in sending medication across the world, and had to go to rehab when she was caught, an addict, stealing painkillers from the program

Well i didnt really feel like doing any research about it, but im going to take your word for it. I just dont really like Palin and her opinions about anything. But its not my opinion that matters here, its yours (assuming you're an US citizen and old enough to vote), and i probably cant change it no matter what id say about Palin.
