Illusive (fs swap, fs swap, back 2) help

So today I kept trying illusive. I would get the first switch up and then come off the rail early. What should I do? +K for help

You should probably get a solid front swap before you go about an illusive. You should be able to land back on the rail cleanly and centered not coming off early

Well for the most part I do. Like I've done super fed and I like to do front swap front 2s

it sounds all mental. if you can super fed but keep falling off after your front swap, then chances are you're tying to do the 2nd swap too quick

Try looking at the end of the rail all the way through the trick, especially after the first front swap. Also, you might want to do your first swap unnatural if you're comfortable unnatural. I prefer to start my illusives unnatural, especially if the rail is not that long, since I can do my k-fed in one motion, as opposed to when I start natural, I have to lock again for the blind 2 after the 2nd front swap.

this, and are you the guy who made a mini edit of a bunch of illusives that you did?

and my problem is not fully swapping and rushing the whole thing, so i always have to slow it down and make sure to do a full swap and not half ass it

haha i can tell

post that vid in here, needed for educational purposes

Here you go. I'd say that practice makes perfect for that trick, as too pretty much every technical rail trick.

uughh I used to hike this flat down rail at my old ski hill for hour trying to get this trick and I kept running out of rail. I managed to get it first try on a flat tube though. Maybe try mixing up the rails..

It's pretty easy on a z rail where both front swaps are not the full 180. You can almost go straight and do shifties.

usually illusives consist of an earlier front swap then just a k fed... try doing the tricks you already can do with an earlier swap.... practices makes perfect.
