Ian said he sent out 700 faxes to shops Tuesday - I think they are late getting the word out.

exactly. how often do you get the chance to ride a perfectly maintained park with your best friends and its not even open to the public? night comps suck. it gets icy and you can't see for shit. props to boulder for having this thing during the day. also, taking photos during the day for the workshop is much easier. if it were at night, they would have to provide everyone with strobes, flashes, more tripods, etc.

^ true. I think for next year though they should hold the event on a weekend. I know a couple really good riders who cant make it because of school

well its supposed 2 be a shop sponcer only comp errrr well it was idk what it is not( i dont care) but if ur spocered u can def get outa school. ur rents are going 2 have ur back. i fully support having a comp only park. u cant ride in the x games cuz ur not pro and u can ride this park cuz ur not sponcered. sorry kids step ur game up and get there next year

it doesnt have anything to do with being sponsored by a shop. its shop employee, as in you need a paystub from work to compete. and having this comp on a weekend would mean shutting down their premier park on a busy weekend, which would turn a lot of customers away. its the same reason blue and bear are not having their comp series on weekends. its much easier to have it on a weekday because they won't have to worry about weekend traffic from the day before beating the crap out of the park either. if you're serious about the comp, its not that big a deal to skip a day of school.

Should be epic. get the word out! or not. It is a closed park open only for this comp, how sick is that? Open and shop divisions. Everyone can participate, you just need to form a team, skip school/work, sign the waiver and pay the fee.
