just picked up my illadelph coil condensor, 10mm thick glass, all clear with orange coil, 4 arm ash catcher, and a carbon filter. got it for a steal $$600.
 
and ive smoked out of illy coils before, theyre soooo smooth and nice, but no offense but i find it kinda dumb. its so expensive and if either the coil or the beaker breaks then youre left with half a bong. what the hell are you supposed to do with half a bong? but hey if you like it then thats good. illy makes sick tubes and the coil is mad smooth. heres my $350 tube. i put ice in it, and it hits pretty damn smooth as well. a/c was $150

yeah haha 9mm is ridiculous enough, i cant imagine 1 cm thick bongs all the way around. i picked up a 9mm illy straight tube at a headshop and it was a fuckin rock. you could easily kill a person just by beating them with a heavy ass 9mm illy
 
I dont love how the percs are wider than the rest of the tube, I will stand by the PHX trinity until I die, by far my favorite bong
 
hahha man that is ridiculous. i love weed as much as the next guy, blaze ery day since high school, but spending 600 dollars on a bong is fucked. maybe it would be more legit if you split it with house mates or something but 600 dollars, for a bong, is nuts. how much do you spend on weed weekly? an only og kush i assume
 
i DO love how my tube is an MGW, a respectable american glass company that puts care into their high grade glass, and that PHX tubes are made in china and are made of a much cheaper glass

and to the response above about the ganja snobs, you're right. i spend 300 on a vapo i never use. who am i to judge how someone spend their will earned money. but all in all i gotta say that a bong can never replace the feeling i get from ripping a fat L. a bong is nice now and then but a j takes the cake.
 
dude im so sick of this shit. do people sometimes talk about pot to sound cool? sure. does that mean we're not allowed to talk about it ever, without smartasses making comments like this? i think it shouldnt
 
No hate or anything man, its a nice piece and Illadelph makes some decent glass but...
The coils are kind of a novelty piece. You pretty much have to plan out your smoking, they drag pretty badly (especially with an ashcatcher), illadelph bases are pretty thin relative to the rest of the piece and for $600 you could've gotten a Toro, SGW, Sovereignty, SYN, Luke Wilson, etc. that has absolutely no drag and had some money left over for some bud.
It is your choice though and it'll get you high so have fun ripping that shit.
 
a $600 toro? where?!?!?!? all ive seen is like 750 and up

and yeah illy bases are paaaaaaper thin

and coils do drag... but theyre still so smooth
 
so do japes and blunts, both of which are 100x better than an apple... for smoking. but for an after smoking treat, an apple is bomb.
 
no, i have a bong. just saying...i would never throw down 600 for somethin to smoke with.
 
yea im not a fan of the sand blasted flames, they look lame/not classy, and when i think toro/sg/sgw i think classy/effective.
