Just about done my course with the ski patrol and i've been sent to Brimacombe for the season. I'll probably be reppin some NS stickers on my helmet so say hi when you see me
also don't be a dick when I scrape your ass off a landing. thanks!
 
i agree with the person above me. we should be able to do flips

anyways ill be looking for you.

 
iv just moved to toronto from the uk so im used to skiing parks in scotland/europe where you can do whatever you want. Do all the parks in ontario not allow flips?
 
only brimacombe and dagmar, everywhere else is either MSL, moonstone or blue mountain. Everywhere else is shit
 
what will happen if they see me doing flips, do they give you a warning or take your pass?
which hill has the best park? i like a mix of kickers and rails.
 
Most places remove your pass for doing inverts. Brimacombe will remove it.

Most resorts (in Canada) do not allow inverts, regardless of what people will claim.

I'm not going to get into this debate, but we all need to understand that Terrain Parks often come under fire, if you like parks, and want resorts to be able to keep building them. Be smart about how you use them. Please follow the rules, they are there to ensure we can continue to build parks and reduce the incidents that negatively effect them.

North America is VERY different than Eruope, you will find that there are more rules that resorts must abide by for a number of reasons.

Krashed, you are right, Management looks after ticket removal etc at Brimacombe, but the Canadian Ski Patrol is a Pro active organization, part of their mandate is to actively promote safety and incindent prevention.

I'd tell you who has the best park, but I'm a little biased. :)
 
Just wondering, what is your position at Brim? I may swing by and say hello once I get out on the hill.
 
I believe all departments have completed their hiring. But you can submit an application.

Go to our website www.brimacombe.ca in the upper right corner click on "Forms" from this page you can download and print off an application. It can be dropped off at our main office anyday of the week, 9am to 4pm 4098 Regional Rd 9, Orono, ON, Gate 4

lol. I'll be out on the slopes Sunday from 12-5. No patrol jacket yet so look for a dude with a bum bag and a black coat!
 
Yes, lift tickets will still be $20.

We have three runs open, Standard, Bunny Blvd. and Bambi.

We will not have a park open yet, but we are blowing snow in both.
 
We are not Open on Christmas Day, December 25th. Check out our website for our operational hours.

The Park(s) will be open very soon.
 
yup that was me, should have asked me how to get to chads, I have a jacket now so I should be easier to spot, say hi!
