Ilife 11 problems

Hey everyone.

I just got ilife 11 and was about to install it when I read that in some cases, Iphoto11 can corrupt your photo library and make iphoto unusable.

Has anybody had these problems? Should I risk installing it even with my photos backed up on an external hard drive?

Lastly. Can I only install the Imovie part of I life, or do you have to install anything at once?

As far as i know, the only way to to Imovie only is to download just the Imovie 11 app off of the app store. However with your photos backed up, i wouldnt worry too much.

I backed everything up, just in case, but I didn't have any issues.
I don't remember the answer to your question specifically. I know you can just install iMovie through the Mac App Store, but I think when you are installing you can specify what you want. Don't know why you wouldn't want the rest.
