This is gunna be a tough decision next winter, I'm thinking about Ikon to get away from I-70 a bit, but damn I'm gunna miss A-51 sooooo much.

Yeah i'd be bummed about losing abay but getting away from i-70 and being to ski eldora before or after class would be great.

That's a tough one!! - probably going to depend on where planned trips are, right now leaning towards Ikon.... do i get to change my vote is i change my mind?

Yeah dude A-bay would be a fattttt L

Very tempted to get the Abasin season pass and the Ikon also. Would LOVE to get off vail resorts epic pass that being said way better options for resorts out here on that pass.

I spend most of my weekends at Mammoth, so it is Ikon for me. If I lived up north and spent my weekends in Tahoe it would still be Ikon, as I love Squaw. Having said that, my buddies up there have said Squaw is much more crowded than in my ski bum years, some want the return of 1600 dollar passes.

I have to get a ski lease in Mammoth, which costs around 500 a month with utilities. Because of that expense, I rarely travel, I only ski Mammoth because trips anywhere else are not in the budget. I occasionally go up to Tahoe, where I can stay for free, but I don't plan many other trips. I went to Gordy Pfeiffer's camp in Utah about 6 years ago, a truly great experience, but that is all the traveling I have done outside of California in the last decade. But with the Ikon pass I might try to travel if I can stay somewhere cheap. If I am going to travel, I would go to Big Sky, Jackson, Revelstoke or Snowbird/Alta. Those places are all on Ikon, so I might try to take advantage of that. The Ikon is pretty awesome for California skiers.
