Ik there r a few diff threads bout this but i need personel opinio on Fujative vs. Flyer

Ok so ik there are a few threads on the Fujative but i am wondering which ski u perfer cuz i am either getting the Flyer in a 171 or the Fujative in 160 i ski only park and am 5'10 and 130
 
the flyer is suprisingly light, tho the fuja would hold up better. but at your weight i dont think that u would be dissapointed in the flyer. its really based on ur skill. by the way, where are u looking?
 
i can get em from REI and 180's are to big, my dad is an instructor and shit and wont let me get what he thinks is to big and where i ski some one 5'8 rides 150's
 
no i dont want a smaller ski 160 is perfect. he was sugesting a bigger one and i was informing him that bigger is bad for where i ski
 
if you were about 15 pounds heavier, i'd say get the 179 fuji's...but go w/ the flyers, 159 fuji is way too short for you bro
 
159 is defffinately not not not big enough for you. Im 5' 3" and i ski the fujitive in 159 and it's perfect for me, right to the top of my head. They would be like you your ... nipples or something, waaay to small. Definately go with atleast something in the 170s, anything smaller will look homosexual.
 
dude- i'm 5'10" live in ohio and used to rock 207's back in the day before twins. i ride the 179 PE now. quit being a pussy and find the fujis in the 179. it's really not that big. you'll look rediculous on 160's-but then you do ski in shorts and a gay spyder vest so you obviously dont care about looking like a deusche bag anyway

honestly your father must be the dumbest ski instructor ever. Trust me, 160 is for people 5 inches shorter than you. 175 minimum I'd say
 
Yeah, I have to agree, with these guys, I'm also an instructor, and it sounds like your dad doesn't have a damn clue what he's talking about, just cause he's 'an instructor' doesn't mean he's knowledgeable about choosing skis. 160 is way to short for you, and the people at your mountain/shop sound like morons also...I honestly don't think I've ever heard of anyone 5'8" riding 150s. Completely ludicrous, get something at least 170 unless you enjoy being ridiculed by 13 year old rental shop snowboard gapers for riding snowblades.
 
the flyer wont last for u (its like a beginner ski) and a 160 Fungative is to short so ur in a bad situation all together try to find 170 or better 180 in the fungative
