I'm thinking of going to igloofest this weekend in montreal. Anybody gone before or know how it is?
It looks fun for not much money but just wondering if anyone has any experience, thanks.

igloofest is siiiick! awesome music, everyone's dances their asses off wearing funky one piece snowsuits suits and it's cheap. have fun!
 
I came up from PA for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It was really a lot of fun, not even that cold once you are dancing and around so many people. And to the person that said it ends at 12, that's true, but it isn't difficult to find afterparties. Also, make sure you bring your skis to Montreal, I want skiing to Bromont and it was so much better than what we have here in PA.
 
So I just won a hotel room and tix to Igloofest for this Friday and Saturday...the weekend AFTER i spend all my money and go to Igloofest. FML
 
its fun and gets fucking hot in the crowd but the lineup this year is pretty beat. last weekend was the best when it comes to artists in my opinion.
 
Bumping this thread up from last year. Heading up to MTL tomorrow with some buddies for this year's version. I'm so super excited for Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann B2B Saturday night, Berlin techno at its finest! Anyone else going to be there?
 
It's an electronic music festival played outside in the freezing cold in Montreal. Sounds like you'd just freeze yourself to misery but it's the complete opposite; it's a blast and once you are there dancing with so many others around you, you will be taking layers off. And the lineup is pretty insane for this weekend as an added bonus.

igloofest is literally the best time, tomorrow night would be the night to come if you could make it, maya jane coles and green velvet is going to be so live. And if i could make a suggestion, check out velvet afterward for prince club. Thats where ima be
 
personally i wouldnt go to stereo, if your looking for an after hours party maybe try circus. But even still those clubs are pretty fucked unless your on a ton of mdma, usually they dont fill in until at least 4 am and are open till 8. Igloofest ends at 12 so youll definitely need a place to go after and like i said earlier the place to be is called velvet speakeasy. PM me if you want more info
