Before we drop invites on Facebook, I wanted to give NS the opportunity to check out what iF3 and Skigroup have put together for you for iF3 Montreal 2012! First of all, every NS member should head to https://www.facebook.com/if3festival and "like" iF3. This is a Festival that is in its 5th year, put on by Newschoolers like yourselves. iF3 has come a long way, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever in its new location in Montreal: Monument-National.

What you will see is a few things:

1) We are providing bus transportation to/from Burlington, VT! Why drive when you can ride the hyphy bus?

2) We want to sell packages! Part of the fun of iF3 is running around Montreal with a whole big crew of NSers. We are providing lodging right next to the venue so that NSers can co-habitate. These are suite-style rooms with full kitchens, a common "lounge" area, and more! Proper living.

While I'm in here Is anyone from the Binghamton New York area driving up there because my friend might go up if he can find a ride. And I already bought my tickets and hotel for the after party's sorry.
 
on a unrelated note, does anyone know where I can watch the sock puppet entries from last year? I tried looking in the if3 cult but it seems they may have removed them. Help?

When you register on the link http://trips.skigroup.net/iF32012 you will see that 2 nights at the Candlewood Suites are included in the base package. You can upgrade for just $39/night each additional night you want to stay (Thursday Night, for example)... Ball so hard
 
Hey bud

In the past, there has not been enough traffic on Thursday to justify a bus- people have work, school etc. That said, 2 things can go down:

1) Get enough people (28) to take a bus and I will rent you a bus

2) join the Facebook event and post there, post on the iF3 page, and post here too asking for a ride to iF3. It's 2012, everybody should be getting down with the ride share, especially as skiers!

That said, we have Thursday night lodging available at $39 if you book the package http://trips.skigroup.net/iF32012 These hotel suites are brand new and very baller

On the iF3 volunteer link ( http://2012.if3.ca/volunteer/ ) I just followed it to register, and it looks like they ask for your information. Fill it out and who knows! It is Canada after all, no labor laws... Just kidding, but dude just send it!

Please let me know if you are looking for individual room acommodations as well, we have booked several hotel-only stays
