If you're bored, give me some constructive critisism on a little video

I thought it was pretty cool, I didn't really like the way you edited the side shot of the car, switching directions and stuff. I think it would look smoother if you continued in one direction or didn't make the shot as long.
 
amazing. i havent watched it yet because my computer is useless and doesnt want to let me view videos right now. but it think the only way you could possibly make it better is to add a manatee pulling a sw cork 1440 whilst backing simon dumont across the face. ok it loaded and i have to say, replace cat with a dog and it would be gold

deffanatly different, was it supposed to skip constantly or was that just my shitty internet connection? if it was i didnt really like that so much but on the whole it was well done. If you do another one of these it might be cool to do the same kinda pan shots skipping around like with the car but have somethign going on in them. Like this could be the perfect lazy summer day edit but maybe go out and keep the same feel but film clff jumping a few skating shots and stuff from the beach or something like that. Id really like to see what you could do if you kept this feel but make it look like its a full days worth of stuff. just throwing you some ideas
 
That was pretty cool, the rewinds and such were a little bit unnecessary I thought, but it was really cool. I would be impressed if u did pans where you actually turned on your longboard, that would be sick.
 
prety sick editing and filming man. i thought it was going to bust out into some activity or something. but still pretty interesting
 
i didn't like how you skipped through and it was choppy like that. maybe get better transitions. idk if you can do that, i can't edit for shit haha. anyway besides that i liked it.
 
The wanna be longboard dolly kinda made it shitty and i didnt really spend much time on the wall to car pan thing.

i would say that with a little more intriguing footage it would have been sick ( i know you didnt film much)

but that being said, use the choppy style sparingly. It works if you use it a little, but when you overload the edit with it, it gets played out quick yadadamean? pick and choose specific shots to add interest instead of using it every shot

the panning/cutting was terrible. i thought it was my internet skipping so i watched it again. i don't know what you wanted us to say towards an evaluation: "sweet video of nothing interesting and shotty camera work"?

if you're filming nothing, then i am going to focus on your camera work and you just said you spent 15 minutes filming this (no effort). so if you're looking for someone to tell you it was professional work, you're looking in the wrong place. watching that video was more boring than what i was previously doing.

the most impressive thing was the quality of the video for the size of the download. so sweet video encoder.
 
I was really looking for editing critisism, i know my filming wasnt great, i was using a longboard as a dolly on a shitty driveway.
 
you gave someone else shit for posting there video in the forums, and i've seen two of your threads doing the same exact shit
 
I thought the intro was a tad uninteresting. A brick wall and a house didn't really reflect summer that well. While some other shots closer to the end were great. I thought that when you did the editing it looked a lot better when instead of just changing the cameras position you actually took a completely different shot of the object, and synced it with the music. With the cat for example, you took a few shots of the cat from one angle while moving sideways, and then introduced a new shot of a different angled camera on the cats face. I'm not sure if you know what i mean, but hopefully you do.

Everything closer to the end like the car shot was great. Pretty sick stuff dude.
