Great post. Technine edits are the only snowboard edits I really check out. Every edit you watch leaves your jaw dropped at one point or another. And Gooner will always be my favorite snowboarder.
 
I wont donate you money for medical fees if you get hurt by not wearing helmet. Lets say helmet costs $50. I find no reason to not wear helmet. Some people just do not understand your head is the part you live with.
 
one of my favourite aspects of longboarding is everyone agrees that helmet are a good idea for anyone who wants to ride another day i wish it would be the same in skiing. i dont see why anyone who truly loves skiing would ride without one ever. concussions stuck and can keep you off the hill for a very long time. and that they are to expensive agreement is bullshit if you can afford to ski you can afford a helmet

no, the term "you idiots" certainly still applies. it's their life not yours. do you tell someone they're being stupid when you see them driving around without a seatbelt? what about when they step out in to the street before the the little white man has appeared on the crosswalk? how about when you see them drinking or smoking?

Calling someone an idiot because they're encouraging people to protect themselves is ignorant. i wouldnt want what happened to me to happen to anyone, so i think that putting a little message out encouraging people to be safe is not an "idiot" move, and certainly isnt up to you to decide so. would you call a person with stage 4 lung cancer trying to convince people to stop smoking an idiot just because he's trying to get people to stop? it's the same concept here, so keep your dumb thoughts to yourself.

and yes i would tell someone with lung cancer that. anyone who smokes is well aware of the risks of them inhaling burning plant matter, but yet they continue to do it anyway. same with riding without a helmet. i know what could happen if shit goes wrong, but i hate wearing a helmet; so i don't.
 
Maybe some people arent all knowing like you? you're obviously to smart for the human race and that's good for you. Unfortunately other people might need the extra help of actual knowledge and personnal experience. Or does everyone who smokes cigarettes already know what its like to die of lung cancer?

nah dude, have you ever been with a 16 year old? i remember the last one i was with, it was amazing. if i were given the chance to bone a hot girl at any age (considering there are no legal problems), i would have to say somewhere between 16-17, hands down.

My friends and i used to skateboard with a guy a couple years older than us all the time when we were in high school. He fell off his skateboard pitched by a rock just cruising down the street.. hit his head. He wasn't wearing a helmet, and we lost a good friend. I always wear a helmet now.
