if u get her jewelery, she's pretty much guarenteed to like it, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't want the ipod more.

personally, i'd want the ipod, just cuz its more useful than jewelery

I personally don't really like jewlery or expensive things for theat mattervbecause I hate having people spending lots of money on me, I feel so guilty. If I got 5 ski pass chains Id be happy. Or how about a card.
 
she is obviously a waste of time if she isn't happy unless you get her something that she's been hammering into your brain for 6 months or so...like 2 very high priced tickets. get her something meaningful, and if she flips shit, leave her ass

go jewelry if you 're sure of her tastes ... if not avoid ... can't you find something more special and personnalized than an ipod? girls definitely do not look at price (as men in fact, well i hope for you dudes), what matters is what it represent. Never give her something like this without a special thing with it like the sweetest card or something. never look proud of what you offered, than the rewards and love in her eyes will be the best present YOU could get for yourself
 
I have a question to ask. Heres some background first. K.

This girl that I'm pretty much amazing friends with (not dating), but very close. I did like her, and I pretty much always will, but I definatly accept that nothing will happen between us, and Im more than ready to move on and go for someone else. But k, heres the issue. So this is just for a gift for her, when its her birthday (in like a month) but I would like to spend quite a bit of money, not too much definatly not, but enough just to show her how chill I am with being friends with her. If I could set a price.... it would be like maybe between like 50 -75, but I don't really know. Any thoughts. Dont answer if not feel like it.
