Its as simple as that. If you want good boots that do their job, they must FIT. Therefore you must.... GO TO A BOOT-FITTER

Imagine what theyd be like if u went to a bootfitter! but no seriously if u know your foot pretty well you can usually be pretty comfortable in a boot you buy online of straight off the shelf IF you do your homeowork on it.

congrats you are a lucky guesser and they fit. but they also would've fit wonderfully if you went to a boot-fitter! so fuck YOU!
^^ and yeah ive seen the how to buy a boot thread, and it is possible to buy boots online. BUT it is best to go to a boot-fitter.
P.S. i know it was a useless thread but a kid i know just told me he ordered tammy wamstick FTs, and he has the widest foot i have ever seen. so it inspired me and i made it on impulse. my bad to haters.

my boots happen to be full tilts, and my feet are very wide. and they fit nearly perfect. i cant really think of any way they could improve the fit. there are a couple small pressure spots that i can hardly notice, they dont hurt or anything, infact these fit better than my boots from 3 seasons ago that i bought from a boot fitter and had them fitted to my foot multiple times

ft's are magic so they cant really be put in the same category as other boots. if you are getting ft's just order them online in whatever your shoe size is and they'll always fit, 60% of the time all the time. any other boot you should go to a bootfitter as the op said.

fair enough, i have never used ft's (only tried them on) and they were snug on my feet which are narrowish.

seriously if you purchased a boot without being fitted and they feel fine well thats you. Everyone has different feet. Shit i tried on eight boots before i found the perfect one. when i went into the shop i wanted the cheapest boot that felt comfortable, but i ended up spending 600 for the most comfortable boots and liners.

dude strait up!! i got mine done last summer and they are sooo amazing - by far more comfortable than any of my street shoes! if it's done right your foot will feel like it's slipping into a vagina specifically designed for feet haha awesome

no shit there aren't, thats why i only get boots when i go on trips to friends houses in breck, aspen, and squaw..
cool post i guess..

Was that sarcasm? I go to the Princeton Sports in Columbia for my bike, but I've never really checked out their boots. They do charge $90 for mounting bindings on a ski that you didn't buy from them though. It's fucking ridiculous.

i find it super entertaining that he is telling you to go to a bootfitter when we have no bootfitter to go to haha. ordered my full tilts on line, after researching on NS, because there is no where to go.they work perfectly..
bottom line, ideally, bootfitter, but in some instances you may have to buy online, in which case researching is an extremely good idea.

it was sarcasm because everyone around here rips on them for being corporate but honestly there are barely any core shops around and some of the guys are princeton are laid back. I've only ever bought season old snowboard stuff there for 40% off though. One guy was going to hook me up with a great deal on a season old rockhopper mtb too. That mounting price is pretty steep.

Yeah when I went there all the people were pretty young and seemed to know what they were talking about. My friends brother works there mainly for the bikes, but I'm going to see if I can get him to mount my bindings for cheaper because I don't have $90 after buying my skis. And Princeton is really the only ski shop near me, I go to the one in Columbia, it's like 5 minutes away from me. But I think I might go soon to check out their boots because they seem alright.

i take classes at hcc so i stop in sometimes.. i almost got a job there last season but it was too far into the season. i'll probably apply there again in the fall, only because IT'S THE ONLY PLACE AROUND since ski raquet closed.

oh and btw, if you want mounting done call ski chalet in rockville.. it might be a hike for you but i got my surfaces mounted for 45 cash ask for nick.

I was thinking of trying to get a job there, but I don't know how old you have to be. And yeah, I was thinking about going to Ski Chalet also, but it's like 45 minutes away. I hate Maryland.

i went to a boot fitter for the first time last year and realized its really worth it. The guy doing it told me things about my foot even i didn't know, it was like going for a checkup but they only focus on your feet. the guy got me into the right size boot and created a costume liner for my feet. CENSUS= this man is right GO TO A BOOT-FITTER
