That was a fuckin joke right? The skiing wasn't even that good. And there's no need for all the shit in between shots like the dog, and the porn (stop it at 3:00). Thats not what skiing is about. And I don't fucking care if they like bitches, dogs, guns or weed. There's no need for that in a movie that LITTLE KIDS MIGHT WATCH YOU FUCKING DOUCHEBAGS!
 
I couldn't watch it all the way. It pisses me off cause it seems like skiers are trying to be more gangster like snowboarders and some skaters and its really stupid because skiing is its own style and you dont have to be super gangster or have a pitbull and handguns to ski.
 
that just fuels my hate for the ninthward team. the closest thing they even have to gangster is Mike D. and he is a white kid who can rap. Mike D. is the eminem of skiing, without the hate.

new orleans has the highest crime rate in the country by far. and thats competeing against compton and detroit and LA and miami AND memphis (which is the second highest) I have been to the hood in memphis and really im pretty sure that even though they are dressed as thugs they would still get fucked up if they spent too much time there. because by no means did i feel completely safe.

im sure two white kids came from the french ghetto and just managed to get training to become 2 of the top pro's in the world. that makes a ton of sense. but i dont doubt that theyve been there. i mean ive been to the ghetto in Memphis and a lil in New Orleans and you can go their and survive. but dont try to argue that the french ghettos are worse than miami or NY or LA or Mephis or New Orleans. Cause those places are bad places to be stuck. So while i dont care that they dress in baggy cloths and wear gold chains but i do question if they need to carry guns with them and wear bullet proof vests. i mean how many times do you think these guys get shot at much less hit??

I will agree that Mik D is one of, if not the, steeziest and best riders around. just watch session 1242 and watch him seamlessly throw switch rodeo 5, 7, 9, and yes even a switch rodeo 10. and that was like 2003 or 2004. he is soo good. i think hes one of the only people who is up their with TJ Vanular T-hall Dumont and Jon. and he might even be better if he spent more time skiing that trying to act tough

sure it might not be the techiest shit ever but what good is a 450 switch up 270 off (i assume you consider that a good trick) if it looks like you just got on skis for the first time. besides MikD can still throw switch rodeo 10 tails with more steeze than anbody, and that in my book is good skiing
 
dude, tanner is...tanner, he's moving away from the rap and into reggae. candide is all about jah and the rasta culture. ever wonder why he gets exclusive reggae stuff that if hard for the average person to find (if it is even availble) in his movies, hell, look at the names of the series: Rastafaride 1-6.

as for mikael, he's doing his own thing, and moving farther and farther away from the ski industry, that's cool i guess, though he has a lot of ability that may be going to waste. but if that's what he wants to do, he probably figures he'll be able to get back into skiing a year or two down the road after he gets his rap thing going. im sure he's doing it cause he's kinda sick of skiing and enjoying himself more cutting records.

i didnt mean it that tanner is ghetto i meant it because i remember reading somthing a while back that people thought tanner was getting to ghetto for skiing so i posted this for all those people who thought that should see this before they say tanners to ghetto
 
I seriously doubt either one of these guys is seriously from the ghetto even if they were "thugs" in frenchh ghettos dont dress like that they wear goofy fanny packs, sweats, nike air shoes, and some kind of fake designer hat tilted back its pretty gay to be honest. French ghettos arent nearly as scary as the ones in the states, they hardly have guns, and unless theres more than ten of them there pussies. As for the people saying we are jealous that hes pro and has a record contract, yeah ok he deserves to be a pro skier (hes pretty good), but his music is a joke i can do the same thing with garageband hes not going to be selling many records.

i dont think one comment here has dissed their riding abilities. many of us have stated that the edit was too distracting and it seemed like their abilities took a backseat to the image that they were pushing. and ill be honest ive never really been to the ghetto and i dont really intend to. i have respect for the people there because i know its a struggle to get out, a struggle that i probably cant even imagine because ive never been there.

I think french rap sucks. It sounds like everyone I've ever heard trying to do a funny french accent, with nasal gorilla grunts and slurs.
