First of all, yes i know that should be in french.
BUT, the main point is, i am looking to live with a family in France at Les2Alpes this summer, so i can ski and train all summer there and learn French. If you live there and have any suggestions, pointer, comments etc, or would even like have me come live with you (i know that sounds weird). Let me know.

Although Les 2 Alpes is a decent ski resort, there aren't too many families who would live there year round. You could rent an appartment (if you have the coin) in Les 2 Alpes for the summer, or maybe share with other Frenchies, but if living with a family is a priority, then you may struggle.

I'd say you're probably best to set yourself up in Bourg d'Oisans or Briancon (although these aren't the biggest of towns) or Grenoble, which is a city about 1-1.30 hrs away from Les 2 Alpes.

French Alps cult. The girl who made is really helpful she'll probably throw a group message around for you. her names AArmadAA.

I'll probably be in L2A this summer for a month together with some friends. I'm not french tho, so with learning french I can't help you. But indeed, check the french alpes cult. The girl who started it knows a lot and is always in to help someone out, send a message around to all the members or something =)

i know this is probably not your main reason for going to LDA this summer, but if you want to speak french it's not a great place to learn - basically all the good bars have english staff, there's a massive bunch of english speaking people working there in general. if you are more focused on living with a family or learning french then like someone else said earlier i would recommend Bourg d'Oisans, Briancon or Venosc

that said, it is such a sick resort, i worked there last year and would love to spend a summer there sometime. you'll have a great time

i'm going there too probably; i also know some people over there; i'll shoot you a PM when i know the exact date i'm going ....

i second much of what has already been said here: nobody really likely to be livin in l2a year-round. yeah definitely try the french alps cult. i live in grenoble right now, wouldn't recommend living there during the summer- all the students clear out for the summer so my guess is you'll find it pretty dead. plus its an hour from l2a... briancon would be the call- great town, french vibe, 20mins from l2a, 20mins from italy, 3hrs from the mediterranean, 300+ sunny days/year, plenty going on in the summer.

i'll be there for a bit in june: my advice would be to get there sooner rather than later in the summer- by july/aug it's all brown and superslushy (can't get enough speed slushy, not fun-for-soft-landings-slushy). june it will be the best park in the world.
