If you remember this you might be an OG

"a young man most at peace amid high unspoiled mountain peaks; he spoke often and longingly of the deep calm and reverence for life that he experienced there."

from his obituary, badass, rip

Damn. Mental health issues need to be take more seriously/more options available. SIP.

Also fairly relevant to mention America's horrendous health care system. Luckily things seem to be moving ever so slowly in the right direction.

I hate to be morbid, but the documentary featuring eastAR5 has like a 95% on rotten tomatoes. I really want to watch it.

It’s about the relationship between the filmmaker and his son (eastAR5) and his “addiction to the internet”. I have it in quotes because I have no idea whether that was the case or not, but that’s how it’s described. With the context of eastAR5 persona on here, and unfortunately his passing away, I’m pretty interested in the documentary.

Edit: despite how he may have acted here, he was clearly really struggling and I’m really sorry he lost his life. It’s too damn bad he couldn’t get well.

Believe it was if I remember correctly, it’s a shame you could tell by his posts over the years he was going through it. His post went from readable to highly erratic. It’s a shame he killed himself though, seems like NS has lost a lot of member due to suicide and or overdosing for such a small community.

Wheres asian_allen at? Guy used to do some sick rollerblade grinds on skis.

The funniest thing is that everyone hated on rollerblade grinds at the time but ski tricks are more like rollerblade tricks than they have ever been and everyone loves it.
