I am selling this Benchmade knife on ebay, but I am not sure about what kind of info I should put into the listing. I don't know anything about them.

If anyone knows the model or general type of knife that would be really helpful.

Oh ya and you press the button and the blade swings out. Isn't that a switchblade? It has a lock for that too.

it's not a switchblade unless the blade shoots straight out of the handle, if it swings out and longs i think it's a swingblade...but i know it's not a switch blade, those definitely are illegal in the states, and you can buy the sort of knife youre selling pretty much anywhere

It is a folding knife, that is correct. It is also a locking folder. I can't tell which type of locking mechanism it has. If the locking mechanism is in the handle, like where the blade folds into, that is a liner lock. Try to find the model number or name. I'm not sure, but that might be a tonto point. Do a search for Benchmade Tonto Folder and see if you can find the exact same knife. Make sure to include both the blade length and the overall length. Make a nice as to if the knife is used, and if it has, whether it has been sharpened or not. Lastly, the blade is a partially serrated blade.

yes it in a tanto tip witch in case your going to be stabbing people with armor is very effective

i got about the same thing, exept its a gravity opperated swichblade, illigal in alot of places? straight hood

I guess it's a Benchmade 9100 and it's pretty popular on ebay already. I think I lucked out finding this in the garage. Thanks guys.

dude you should still sell it but just say that it has the stained blood of chuck norris and that it forms the picture of the virgin mary and start a very large controversy.. and get a lot of moola

yeah like the other guy said it's not a switch blade. it looks kinda beat up and dull in the picture maybe you should sharpen it before you sell it

you are wrong

a blade that shoots out the front is an OTF (out the front) knife. they are badass but very illegal. if it whips out automatically like a regular folding knife its a switchblade

actually YOU are wrong, what he has is called a stilletto, i have two of them. a true switchblade shoots out of the handle straight.

Ones that shoot out the front can also be called punchers.

Weather or not a switch blade is legal or not depends on if its gravity or spring forced to open
